Preparedness of the Poliklinika Žďár nad Sázavou in terms of fire protection
NESIBOVÁ, Vladěna
The aim of this thesis is the field of preparedness of the Poliklinika Žďár nad Sázavou in terms of fire protection, especially its security and risks appearing in the object. All objects are required to comply with fire protection obligations, medical facilities all the more because of the occurrence of persons with reduced mobility and orientation. Also due to the presence of a large number of people. The research part of the thesis is elaborated in the form of own investigation which aims to meet the objectives of this thesis. The given problem has been solved mainly through structured interviews with the responsible person to find out the necessary information that could not be obtained in another way. Method of own observation has been used as well as the comparison method to compare the information obtained. Individual parts of the Žďár nad Sázavou health center (fire sections) have been compared with each other from different perspectives of their security. The method of comparison has been used to compare the security techniques of selected surgeries from the perspective of fire protection as well. Analysis method has been used to analyse given issue and the synthesis method to unification the individual parts into the complex. Research has shown that in some fire sections the fire protection is not sufficient. Some deficiencies have occurred, these need to be remedied to ensure greater security for the persons present in the building, especially those with reduced mobility and orientation. The greatest problem lies primarily in the lack of fire extinguishers and fire shutters in most A type escape routes which are secured against closure. A possible fire can therefore spread to the evacuation routes and thus make it difficult to evacuate patients and employees of the medical center.
