Volunteer Work with the Mentally Disabled
CEJPKOVÁ, Dana
This bachelor thesis concerns volunteer work with mentally disabled patients who make use of the residential facilities of mental care institutions such as week-to-week social welfare institutions, shelter housing and homes for persons with medical disabilities. The work is divided into two main parts with the first part being a theoretical treatment of the subject of volunteering for people with mental disabilities. Part Two, entitled, The Meaning of Volunteering for the Mentally Disabled, is the practical part, where, with the aid of research, the objective is to find the significance and benefits of volunteering for people with mental disabilities using residential services.
