Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with a Colles' fracture diagnosis Objective: The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to obtain and process theoretical knowledge about Colles' fracture, the subsequent use of selected physiotherapeutic methods and procedures in therapy and elaboration of case report and a record of the course of rehabilitation care. Methods: This thesis was created on the basis of four-week practice at the Brandýs nad Labem Hospital. It is devided into two sections. The general section deals with the anatomy and kinesiology of the wrist and hand, followed by a general description of fractures, their classification, diagnosis, healing, treatment and possible complications. It also deals with the topic of distal radius fractures (general information, treatment, rehabilitation). The special section contains a case report of physiotherapeutic care for a patient with Colles' fracture. Key words: Colles' fracture, radius, distal radius fractures, physiotherapy.
