Steel Beam Structure Optimization
Lamoš, Radek ; Eliáš, Jan (referee) ; Frantík, Petr (advisor)
The main subject of this work is to find ideal solution of the steel frame structure and offer the best solution to investors. The aim is to get know how steel structures works, write down internal forces when parametres are changing. Parameters can be profiles, loads or many others. The output should be perfectly optimized construction. The content combines theory of structural mechanics and designing steel structures. This project could be very useful in practice designing of steel frame structures with the possibility of expansion by other parameters.
Static analysis of bridge construction: Černý most in Hodonín
Okánik, Michal ; Kala, Jiří (referee) ; Sobek, Jakub (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with static analysis of the Black bridge in Hodonín city. The creation of the numerical model in ANSYS sw. is described according to the existing project documentation, followed by the application of loading and boundary conditions (including the solution of foundation soil placed on the piles). The selection of the loading is used according ČSN EN standards for analysis and verification of the main construction parts. This work also includes verification of the piles deformations calculated both in ANSYS sw. and by the direct stiffness method (MS Excel is used) and their comparison is done. Amongst other attachments, the verification of the load carrying capacity of the structure (respecting the current traffic limitation allowing only one vehicle to be on the bridge structure) is also provided.
Analytical Design Optimization of a Structure
Šubíková, Magdaléna ; Vlk, Zbyněk (referee) ; Hokeš, Filip (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with an analytical optimization of the construction design. Designed structure was inspired by a steel structure of the Bernard lookout tower. The analytical optimization was performed on a partial model of the structure and static analysis was obtained using the direct stiffness method. Two models for optimization were created in Scie Engineer 20.0 – one partial, the other complete. The impact of the optimization on the mass and cost of the structure was assessed.
Shape optimization of civil engineering structure
Kuzbová, Šárka ; Vlk, Zbyněk (referee) ; Hokeš, Filip (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on shape optimization of a selected load-bearing structure. The calculation is carried out in RFEM 6. The desired goal is to achieve an optimum state where the structure has the lowest mass and at the same time satisfies the ultimate and serviceability limit state. The optimization procedure of the selected structure is focused on optimizing the position of the diagonals. The bachelor thesis also includes a study of the shape optimization of the simplified statically certain and uncertain structure.
