Digitální upskilling v malých a středních firmách
Kosková, Karin
The diploma thesis deals with the perception of digital upskilling in small and medium-sized enterprises in the South Moravian Region. The aim is to clarify how companies and their employees perceive digital upskilling, why it is important to start dealing with it, and what opportunities and potential threats it brings. Two research studies were conducted. A quantitative survey in the form of a question-naire was conducted with employees from 12 selected companies. The survey examined their digital competence, perception of digital upskilling, preferences, motivation, advantages, and disadvantages. A qualitative study was conducted in the form of semi-structured interviews with executives and HR specialists. The interviews covered reflections on digitalization, perception of digital upskilling, benefits, potential threats, etc. Based on the analyses of both studies, the output is a clarification of the approach of companies and employees to this topic, as well as recommendations for implementing digital upskilling. This thesis is beneficial for small and medium-sized enterprises and their HR departments, specifically in the field of education.
