The relationship between physical and strategic plan - case study of Třeboň, Jindřichův Hradec and Dačice

The bachelor thesis focuses on the relationship between physical planning and strategic planning. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with the development of the municipality and the tools which can be used to achieve it. The thesis identifies physical and strategic plan as the two most important tools of local development. The both documents are briefly characterized, also their aims and differences are discussed. Theoretical models of mutual relations between documents are introduced separately. In the practical part, the bachelor thesis deals with evaluation of the relationship of the physical and strategic plan in three selected towns - Třeboň, Jindřichův Hradec and Dačice. The evaluation is realized by analysing and comparing documents according to determined criteria, which verify the rate of cooperation and general connection of documents. The thesis deals with the priorities determined in both documents, the connection of general content, the process of creation and approval of documents, the time sequence of both documents and the realization of the concrete intentions. The result of the thesis is confirmation of the interconnections of the documents and the determined hypotheses. Development of settlement and inhabitants of Lipno region before the dam construction

The thesis deals with the settlement and inhabitants development in Lipno region within the frame of historical geographyy. The introduction part is focused on geographical description of the examined region and its demarcation. Further chapters are focused on space structures of inhabitants, the timeline and other geographical and histrorical connections and linkage. Final part of the thesis is dedicated to settlement changes created by the construction and existence of the Lipno dam. The target of the thesis is to provide a complex view to the settlement development in the region in context of development of inhabitants and geographical and historical changes happening in the region. The bachelor thesis has been procesed according to the archive materials, field research, historical and recent maps, cadastral maps and aerial photographs. GIS ? geographical information system has also been used while creating the thesis.
