The spiritual values of the society - The wealth of free time

Whole thesis is conceived theoretically and it deals with spiritual values in the society in the context of leisure time. It represents spiritual values, spirituality and dimensions of leisure time and their coherence. The text characterises the changing concept of leisure time in the historical-anthropological perspective and compares present times and the need for spiritual values throughout the history of Western Society. By means of the theological, philosophical and historical scientific material, I research the phenomena of leisure time and the role of the Church. The thesis deals with the ways of spending leisure time in Middle Ages, Modern Times and it describes changes in Modern Times. The content of the theoretical part of the thesis is the reflection of transformation of spiritual values and their wealth in the past and the present, the treatise also belongs to spiritual activities in comparison with other leisure time alternatives.
