This bachelor work focuses on implementation of application for fingerprints database maintenance. It consists of three parts. The first part is about detection of friction ridge endings and branches. For that purpose, there are three algorithms implemented and their results are discussed in the last chapter. Second part of the work is about preprocessing of extracted points for the purpose of database insert and search. There are algorithms of triangulation and clusterization used.
