The object of this work is a design of a frame timber house. The main emphasis of the draft was put on the use of natural building materials. As the main insulating material for the bearing walls were selected straw bales . The design placed emphasis also on the increase in ability to accumulate the heat in the walls of the building. For that reason, the space between the walls was filled with unfired clay bricks. This work contains description of natural building materials, description of the walls and ceiling structure, and construction of foundations and roof. Later in the work there is a list of building operations and supplies with statement of measurements.

This Diploma thesis is dealing with usage of straw as a hundred percent sustainable material suitable for detached houses, apartment buildings, building for public purposes and other buildings. Furthermore, it assess ecopanel material from the suitability of using it in buildings made of wood or other materials point of view. The practical part is consisting of research concerning the possibility of attacking heat insulation by rodents. We will get to understand what the impacts of wrong installation of heat insulation are and if it will still be able to fullfill its technical attributes.

The content of this thesis is the design of a clothing that is largely made from wood material. The work is devided into two parts. The first, theoretical part is focused on the wood, its structure and work with it. Furthermore it deals with wooden elements available on the market. This research serves as a source of inspiration for the design. The second part is practical. There is described a production process of the design from initial sketches to the resulting model, which is demonstrated in the photos.

The theme of the thesis is the design and implementation description timbered family house on a particular site. The House will meet the requirements for year-round use family of four. At work, among other things, solves partial basement house, designing perimeter walls of BSH prisms and positioning of the building on a particular site. Solution is also construction of wooden elements of the building and the layout of rooms, depending on orientation to the cardinal. Furthermore, there is described a solution crical details envelope timbered buildings.

My diploma work deals with the dinner tables issue. This work is based on the cooperation with particular foreign company which is situated in Norway with regard to contract owner's requirements. The theoretical part deals with the historical development, typology, universal requirements imposed on dinner tables and the survey of the current situation of the market. The practical part describes a proposal of construction, technology of production, assembling, packaging, transport and price. At the end of this part is a proposal of possible adjustments because of the consumer's individuality. The work include also samples and prototypes of table's construction, the drawing documentation included.

Návrh dřevěného šlapacího autíčka

The thesis is focused on the design of a wooden pedal car. It consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part introduces the particular history of toys and historical vehicles, nevertheless the market research of pedal cars is elaborated too. The practical part shows a functional prototype of the pedal car. The process of production is documented in every detail, from the early sketches to the pedal car construction itself. Designing and creating of the wooden pedal car was managed as handmade custom manufacturing. The integral part of the thesis is also the price calculation of the used materials, total hours and concluding discussion.

Bachelor thesis deals with the influence of humidity on the strength of glued joints of wooden garden furniture by using a mounting adhesive. The joints of solid wood-samples of robinia and spruce were glued with one-component polyurethane adhesive. The bonded joints were exposed to the different humidity at elevated temperature and then it was compared to the strength and resistance between individual woods. Samples were strained on tensile shear strength test.

The task of the thesis is to design a new chair design with respect to current requirements for this type of furniture. The work is divided into two parts. In the first, theoretical part is at the beginning analyzed the history of design. The following chapters are focused on the theme of sitting, its negative consequences, alternative solutions and basic types of sitting positions, an overview of main dimensions, standards and materials that were used for the design. The second, practical part deals with the design process. At the start is compiled research focused mainly on the actual situation on the market and innovative design concepts of a chair. Work continues with finding own concept by sketches and 3D visualizations. The final phase is deticated to work on the selected concept, where are specified all details of the project from the dimensions and shape to manufacturing process and versions, including a fabrication of a model in 1: 4.

Master thesis about seating furniture is divided into two parts . The theoretical part includes topics such as ergonomics and standards. Introduction is explaining the terms and ideas with which the whole work is dealt with. The theoretical part includes a chapter in which is explained and shown the inspiration. During the creating process I also focused on the psychology of products in general and its application to a specific product. In this chapter I devote more material on how to use information that I collected to meet predetermined specifications. The practical part contains sketches, selection of materials, visualisations. It also contains technological process of creating a prototype. Master thesis ends with general evaluation and discussion.

Foreign trade of Slovak republic with wood

The work describes management of wood of Slovak republic, characterizes the current situation of forestry and wooden industry, policies and practices that this sector uses and that affect the foreign commerce with wood and wooden products of the country. This paper also analyses particular influences on the total amount and final structure of traded wood, as well as on the effectiveness of these transactions. It summarizes objectively the position of this commodity in Slovakia, the ability of exploitation of Slovak potential in the area of foreign trade with wood and finally, forecasts the possibility of next trends in this sector.
