The bachelor´s thesis deals with social work with clients of Children´s Home. Its aim is to give a comprehensive account of the tasks of social workers in a Children´s Home. The thesis contains chapters which are indispensably associated with social work in a Children´s Home. It covers the issues of clients, social workers and their tasks. It is illustrated by case interpretations which link the theoretical knowledge with practice. At the end the thesis presents the gathered information and also deficiencies in social work in a Children´s Home.
Importance of a dog as an assistance - case study

It is divided into two parts, in the theoretic part are some terms related to assistance dog, rehabilitation and disabled man defined. The practical part is trying to find importance of assistance dogs for the development and treatment of children with disabilities in the form of case study.

The title of my bachelor diploma thesis is {\clqq}Explanation and reasurance of children before operations``. In the introduction I dealt with a theory of how important a role of a reasurance nurse and other hospital staff is during hospitalization of a child, what the role of the parents is and how necessary it is to prepare the child psychologically for hospitalization and curing process, which the child has to go through during the stay in hospital. Based on this theory I set goals and hypotheses which I tried to confirm or contradict by a research in a form of questionnaires or dialogues. The results of the research are stated in graphs in practical part. In the conclusion and discussion the results are interpreted.
