Testing and Analysis of a Broaching Machine
Dvořák, David ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the broaching technology. Theoretical part includes the essay about the technology, tools and machines used for broaching. Theoretical part also describes the analysis of the broaching machine testing. Practical part is focused on the collecting, comparing and analysis of the data. These data have been collected during and after the broaching process. The supplier of the new analysed broaching machine is Stenhoj Hydraulik and the older machine has been made by Arpini. The measurements show that the increased number of broached pieces influence the cutting force and the quality of the surface due to wear of the tool which has been also monitored. The measuring dimension through the ball is almost constant. In the conclusion we evaluated the economical aspect of the results.
Machining of titanium alloys and difficult-to-machine alloys with milling
Kouřil, Petr ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis was specialized on the issues machine difficult-to-machine alloys. In theoretical part of thesis was characterized groups of these alloys and analysis of their machinability. A face milling of the titanium alloy Ti6Al4V has been experimentally tested and statistically assessed. A total force loading and specific cutting force analyses have been done.
Prediction of cutting forces and powers when sawing with a circular saw
Skryja, Jan ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the cutting of steel thin-walled parts by slitting saw. Its subject is to study and test of cutting edges of slitting saws with a goal to reduce cutting forces to a minimum. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, existing knowledge about slitting saws and general cutting technology is analyzed. In the practical part testing of four slitting saws with different geometries of cutting edges during machining of chosen thin-walled part is performed. The performed measurements show that by the proper choice of the geometry of cutting edge, the cutting force can be reduced approximately by 30 %.
Force load of the cutting tools in milling
Vašíček, Jiří ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The thesis is focused on measuring the power equipment for milling. The theoretical part describes the method of measuring forces with a deeper focus on the individual meter. There is also the description of the characteristics of the milling process. Experimental part is focused on the proposal of experiment of the face milling, its implementation and subsequent evaluation.
Production of the magnet holder
Kraval, Jiří ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (referee) ; Žák, Ladislav (advisor)
This project developed within the engineering studies of M-STG submits a proposal of a production technology of production of the magnet holder made of DC03. Based on a literary study of the problem of cutting, drawing, bending and calculations manufacturing of the component in a production die was suggested. The production die uses a normalised component and is tightened on PE 100 crank press with nominal drawbar pull 1000 kN. The conclusion of the thesis deals with the economic benefit of the suggested manufacturing technology.
Cutting force analysis when drilling with twist drill
Hon, Pavel ; Humár, Anton (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
Theoretical part of this project contains basic characteristics of drilling technology, shows summary of drilling technologies and tools used for drilling, detailed description of twist drill, forces and loads analysis when drill, twist drill stress analysis. In experimental part of this project there are some investigations on twist drill geometry CZ001 made by company NASTROJE CZ, s.r.o. Cutting edge geometry and web thickness is measured on 3D scan of this drill and the results are compared to conventional products. Course of moment of cutting and course of thrust force is done by experiment where the recessed hole was drilled. Course of both loads is compared to long-term results on conventional drills. As application of the achieved results the cutting force position is calculated and stress and deformation analysis is performed.
Productive Machining of Titanium Alloys
Čejka, Libor ; Humár, Anton (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to analyze the production costs and optimize cutting conditions for high-feed face milling of titanium alloy Ti6Al4V. In the experiment were changed cutting conditions, such as cutting speed vc and feed speed vf. During the experiment were checked cutting forces by dynamometr. Furthermore, surface roughness and tool wear is observed.
The bend profile manufacturing by combination dies
Kummer, Michal ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Císařová, Michaela (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes the creation of the technological process for shelf clutch production. The shelf clutch will be made of material 11 321 by cutting and bending technologies. The first part of thesis includes the theoretical description of cutting and bending technologies. The second part contains calculations and design proposal of final combined cutting and bending tool and also selection of pressing machine. The thesis contains the unit block layout of the combined cutting and bending tool and detailed drawings of cutting and bending parts of the tool. The shelf clutch drawing is included too.
Effective milling of stainless steels using octagonal inserts
Kouřil, Petr ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
Thesis aims on efficient milling of stainless steels. Groups of these steels are characterized and their machinability is analyzed in theoretical part of this thesis. In the practical part of thesis were face milled stainless steels ČSN 17 240.4 a ČSN 17349.4. There are evaluated edge durability, roughness of surface, loading of total cutting force and effectiveness of test tools.
Production of the valve seat
Kraval, Jiří ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (referee) ; Žák, Ladislav (advisor)
This project developed within the bachelor studies of B-STG submits a proposal of a production technology of saddle valve made of EN AW – ALMG3 material. Based on a literary study of the problem of cutting, drawing and calculations manufacturing of the component in a production die was suggested. The production die uses a normalised component and is tightened on LEN 63C eccentric press (produced by ŠMERAL Trnava), with nominal drawbar pull 630 kN. The conclusion of the thesis deals with the economic benefit of the suggested manufacturing technology.
