A disorder of children's deportment may causes a wrong technique of skiing and it may have a negative influences on the human musculoskeletal system or it may cause the deterioration of the primary disorder. The first aim of the thesis was to find out what influence has cross-country skiing on the posture of children. The second aim was to influence the quality of children's posture with physiotherapy. This thesis is divided into 2 parts. Theoretical part contains the theoretical basis of the cross-country skiing, general aspects of the musculoskeletal system, description of the age category of the examined group and possibilities of the theraphy. Practical part is elaborated as a quality research and contains an examination of 5 athletes at the age of 13. Based on the initial examination the uniform theraphy for probands has been suggested and took 3 months. Then the resulting examination and the conclusiont of the whole theraphy has been realized. The examination found out the hypertonus of musculus trapezius at all of 5 probands. At 4 of them there were found shortered flexores of the knee-joint and instability in the ankle-joint. The created therapeautic unit was applicable at all of the individuals. By targetly-suggestioned therapeautical unit the reduction of the hypertonus of musculus trapezius was reached. At 4 of the probands the grade of reduction by examination of shortered flexors of the knee-joint has been confirmed and also improving of the stability quality in the ankle-joint has been proved at 2 of the probands. This thesis can be used for insight of the problematics connected with children's cross-country skiing in middle childhood. Thesis could be also used as a study material for practice of physiotherapeutist, coaches of the cross-country skiing or as a educational material for special group of people dealing with the cross-country skiing.

Title: Comparison of training impact of striding versus double poling for cross country skiing. Objectives: The goal of the research is to find out and compare the difference between striding and double poling from the point of view of internal body impact, or lactate acid, heart rate and measured time of the performance in two consecutive days, respectively. Methods: This research is conceived as an empiric field research, which considers a comparison of lactate acid (LA) levels during cool down and heart rate (SF). Compared values were measured on roller skis in two consecutive days. Results: With the help of lactate acid levels, heart rate and measured times we found the main differences between striding and double poling. To the conclusion, we found out that striding was faster from measured time perspective and also the lactate acid levels were lower than for double poling. Keywords: Cross-country skiing, roller skating, heart rate, lactate, diagonal striding, double poling.
