Issue of Housing and its Solution in the Village Kobylí
Kaňa, Jan ; Vaňková, Lucie (referee) ; Korytárová, Jana (advisor)
This thesis discusses housing issues and its solutions in a village named Kobylí. The theoretical part focuses on introducing the issues by defining basic concepts related to housing, local real estate market and evaluating feasibility of projects. The thesis provides an overview of current as well as historic data and graphs related to housing. In the practical part, a feasibility study is presented and focuses on an economic evaluation of a construction of a new apartment building in Kobylí, followed by requirements assessment such as an effectiveness of critical variables and a crucial input value from the investor's point of view. Lastly, this thesis identifies and defines new tenants of the building which is offering appartemnts, and evaluates whether the tenants can afford housing in their new apartment.
Ecological influences during the construction of a family house
Bortlová, Nicol ; Vaňková, Lucie (referee) ; Kocourková, Gabriela (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the ecological influences in the construction of a family house. The subject is to compare the properties of alternative building materials, determine the cost of building a house and design the optimal way of financing housing for a fictional married couple. Explains basic concepts, namely ecological aspects in construction, project management of buildings, pricing in construction, housing finance. The following practical part compares building materials in terms of their properties and environmental impacts during production, determines the costs of acquisition and operation of a family house and then finds out whether it is possible to finance the construction of the house through a mortgage loan. At the end of the work evaluates what percentage will increase the cost of building a house in the case of the use of materials, the production of which produces less negative emissions. Finally, the optimal variant of housing financing is recommended.
Design of conventional motorcycle swingarm made from aluminum alloy
Adlof, Michal ; Tobiáš, Martin (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the proposal of the swingarm from aluminium alloys. The theoretical part is devoted to a closer description of the swingarm. Here, the older ways of wheel deposition are described, followed by a comparison of the four basic variations of the swinging forks. The practical part of the thesis is then focused on the design overhaul of the steel swingarm. In the next part, the calculations of forces and stress analysis are presented. Subsequently, the original steel and redesigned aluminium swingarm are compared. And finally, the complete drawing documentation needed for the production can be found in the annex.
Design and Construction of Transmission Line Loudspeaker Cabinet
Dobiášovský, Jiří ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Balík, Miroslav (advisor)
Thesis is dealing with the topic of design and construction of the transmission line loudspeaker enclosures. Theoretical part is focused on speaker choice, its design elements and their influence on parameters of the speaker. Individual parameters of the speaker, mathematical equations for their determination and choice of suitable speaker for transmission line loudspeaker enclosure is furthermore discussed and defined. Principle of transmission line enclosures is discussed together with its advantages and disadvantages compared to other types of enclosures. The individual design elements and their influence on the resulting characteristics of the enclosure are described. In the practical part, with regard to the facts stated in the theoretical part of the work, a suitable speaker is selected and the subsequent design and construction of a variable transmission line speaker is described. This might serve as a teaching aid in future. Part of the work is also a description of procedures for measuring loudspeakers with multiple speakers or resonators.
Multipurpose centre in Hodonín
Zbořil, David ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
This diploma thesis solves with the design and static assessment of a multipurpose center in Hodonín. The structure is divided into three statically separated parts. The two structural units, consisting of steel frames with composite reinforced concrete slabs, are symmetrical and the middle part, formed by wooden frames made of glued laminated timber. The construction was solved using a computational 3D model. The model was created in the program RFEM 5.21.01. Using the model, the internal forces and dimensions of the usual elements were calculated. The construction was assessed in the program RFEM 5.21.01 and in MS Excel 2010. The outermost buildings have 7 floors and are designed for residential and office space. The maximum height of the structure is 27.60 m, including the attic. The central multifunctional hall is roofed by a walkable green roof. The maximum height of the middle part is 12.50 m. The largest floor plan dimensions of the building are 49,050 m x 24,000 m.
Static and structural design of a view-tower on the Horničí hill
Rotroeklová, Petra ; Pešek, Ondřej (referee) ; Bukovská, Pavla (advisor)
The object of my master‘s thesis is static and structural design of a view-tower on the Horničí hill. The combination of steel and timber was used for design. The construction was designed in two variants. Both variants were created and assessed in a software Scia Engineer. The assessment of the ultimate and serviceability limit state was made according to valid standards. Variants were compared. Engineering report, detailed structural design and drawings were prepared for the selected variant.
Redesign of the construction and control algorithm for an unstable robot with a spherical base
Novák, Vlastimil ; Najman, Jan (referee) ; Spáčil, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the redesign of an unstable robot with spherical base, also known as Ballbot. The aim of the work is to analyze the existing structural elements of the robot, available sensors, control and power electronics and identify functional deficiencies. Subsequently, design a solution and implement it in order to eliminate all found deficiencies. Part of the work is testing a revised version of the robot, which, among other things, consists of checking the functionality of individual sensors and checking the comunication between sensors and microcontroller. Emphasis is placed on determining the real accuracy of newly used sensors depending on the settings used and ambient conditions.
Conceptual design of small aircraft with emphasis on structure simplicity
Rajnštajn, David ; Horák, Marek (referee) ; Jebáček, Ivo (advisor)
This thesis relates to a conceptual design of a light aircraft considering its easy manufacturability in non-professional workshop, for example at home. It is divided into three main parts. At the beginning there is mentioned a summary of existing light airplanes which determines the conceptual frame of the designed aircraft. The next part describes more detailed draft of different functional units, taking into consideration the constructional and manufacturing issues. The final part then contains basic equations to verify and define the most important characteristics of the designed aircraft.
Conceptual design of a heat switch installation into a structure of satellite
Vehicle Hydropneumatic Unit
Koudelka, Roman ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This diploma thesis, following the bachelor's thesis, is devoted to the gas-liquid unit of a vehicle, as the central element of hydropneumatic suspension. The aim is to dimension and construct this component and integrate it together with other elements into a complex suspension system. Based on possible forms listed in the research section, regarding to current development trends, the form of the unit is chosen. The practical part begins with simulations comparing a hydropneumatic with a conventional suspension system. After solving this issue, it is possible to proceed to the dimensioning of the basic parameters of the unit and then to its construction, respecting the relevant strength calculations. The last step is to build a conceptual design of the whole hydropneumatic suspension system.
