The effectiveness of these coating materials was tested in the floodplain forests, where is a long-term occurrence of the European beaver. The testing took place on standing trees, and partially on pre-felled trunks that were treated with the coating materials beforehand. The most effective of the tested protective coating materials was the commercial product Wöbra. This material was effective in 100 % of the cases of its use.
