Moral responsibility in social work with clients with autism spectrum disorder
MELKESOVÁ, Nela
This thesis deals with moral responsibility of people working in social field with clients with autism spectrum disorder. The first three chapters of the thesis focus on acquainting and approaching important areas for this thesis. These areas include social work and the application of ethics in it, familiarization with the responsibility to the code of ethics, the characteristics of the target group and subsequently the moral responsibility itself. The third chapter also introduces a five-digit relationship of responsibility. The work is enriched with case reports, which became from transcripts of interviews with workers who have clients with autism spectrum disorder. These are used to verify to what extent the persons concerned are able to perceive their moral responsibility, whether they see it as a minimum of a three-figure concept. Attention is also focused on coexistence of responsibilities and conflict of responsibilities.
