Hand Computer Controlling

Bachelor's thesis is engaged in computer control with simple one hand gestures. There is described principal of hand detection by skin color recognition, processing and classification of hand gestures. The thesis includes implemented application for hand gesture recognition from video. For work with video library OpenCv is used.

Traditional and nontraditional compensatory requisites

The thesis deals with the operating of computers by disabled people and its solution. The division of disabled people,integration, working opportunities of disabled people and financing of the tools is analysed at the beginning of the thesis. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the description of thirteen selected compensatory tools for disabled people and it also deals with testing of three compensatory tools which are available. Testing took place in rehabilitation centre in Kladruby and in ARPIDA centre in České Budějovice. Ten patients were tested. The result of the thesis is a brochure with the parameters of the selected tools. The recommendation for the disabled patients we worked with is also included.
