Analysis of the dependence of selected ventilation and somatic parametres of adolescent footballers on the age and lenght of systematic training
PAŘÍZEK, Jakub
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to determine the values of certain ventilation and somatic parameters and to compare the results of adolescent categories U16, U17, U18 and U19 with the given standards. The footballers underwent measurements on a running ergometer in the form of a stepped run to the "vita maxima" and the Tanita BC 418 MA device at the beginning of the summer pre-season at the Laboratory of Load Diagnostics at DPSS, Univesrity of South Bohemia before the start of the 2021/2022 season. The examined somatic parameters included the BMI value and the proportion of muscle and fat mass. Ventilation parameters included maximum oxygen consumption/uptake, tidal volume, breath frequency, minute ventilation, and heart rate at the VO2peak. Footballers achieved optimal or above-average values for all parameters except the tidal volume and breath frequency, while the factual and statistical significance of the differences in values was proved for all parameters. The average of the values of the most important parameter VO2max was 59.17 ? 4.25 ml?min-1?kg-1 in category U16, 59.21 ? 3.57 ml?min-1?kg-1 in category U17, 58.44 ? 5.15 ml?min-1?kg-1 in category U18 and 59.05 ? 3.94 ml?min-1?kg-1 in category U19. The results of the work may point to above-average achieved parameters and may help to create focused training on the underdeveloped ones.
