Data backup using cloud services

The first part of my bachelor thesis is focused on theoretical pieces of knowledge about backup and its types joins on cloud data centres that clarify the advantages and disadvantages of cloud solution, its security and the point of view of legislation of internet storages.
The second part of this paper is practical and its main benefit is evaluation of clouds services as OneDrive for Business, Google Drive for Work and Dropbox Business based on their description of functions and their performed measurements, when was measuring time of upload the data with the same size in these data centres. These services are described also for non-company solutions, but only for reason of the explanation of the differences between corporate and individual use.
The particular goals of this work are also characteristic of functions for often used software for automatic backup of Acronis True Image Cloud, Cobian Backup 11 and automatic backup in Windows.

Analysis of Cloud Computing market

The purpose of this thesis is Cloud Computing market research in Czech and Slovak Republic. Main goal is to find and analyze some possible opportunities in these markets. Thesis is devoted to DataSpring company. The business of this company is to establish and operate IT infrastructure. Market and its players are chosen regarding this company services. The theoretical part of this thesis contains literature research about Cloud computing, its definitions, historical development, actual state and even a predictions of future development. Information about competitors is going to be gathered from public sources. Information about companies interest in these services are obtained by anonymous questionnaires solutions in customer part. This questionnaire characterize companies in several ways, for example number of employees, business branches and other similar ones. We are going to achieve a main goal of this thesis by analysis and comparison of previously gathered information.

The benefits and limitations of Cloud Computing

This paper analyses the issues of Cloud Computing. Cloud Computing is concept of providing software and hardware services. This concept is currently becoming very popular. The aim of this paper is to define and specify the term Cloud computing itself. Another aim is to characterize and describe the basic properties of the whole concept of Cloud Computing and to put this concept into broader relations and context, especially in relation to the ASP (application service provider). Furthemore, from these facts to define the benefits and limitations of concept, which Cloud computing primarily offers to companies. To achieve these aims is used special literature and specifically focused websites on the issue of Cloud Computing. The contribution of this paper is a survey of the characteristics, benefits and limitations of the concept and also its application in enterprises.
