Analysis of the Croatian tax system

The aim of this study is to describe in detail the Croatian tax system, determine the amount of the tax burden on tourists and suggest how the higher tax revenues from tourism could be realized. I work with data provided by the Croatian Tax Administration and Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Croatia. To determine the tax burden on tourists I compare data obtained from own calculations for the Czech Republic and for Croatia.
