History of Chemistry Production in the Czech Republic Territory

This thesis deals with the chemical production and its history in the Czech Republic. The chemical production has its long tradition in the Czech Republic. In the first chapter the thesis focuses on the topic of the chemical production in the national curriculum and selected school curriculums in the Chrudim region and the Pardubice region. In the second chapter it analyses the production of various chemicals described in the present and former elementary school textbooks of Chemistry. It also concerns historical Chemistry textbooks published since the year 1945 in which other facts that are not being included in the present textbooks are mentioned and enlarge the synthesis. The history of the notable and traditional chemical production in the Czech Republic is the component of this thesis in the third chapter. This thesis summarizes all the facts concerning the chemical production so that it could be used by teachers and students who are interested in studying the subject of Chemistry.
