The Study Efficiency of Utilization of Selected Machines in Operation
Khachatryan, David ; Horký, Martin (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This thesis deals with examination of the efficiency of the use of the selected machine in the company HARTMANN – RICO, and presents proposals of its increase through lean production methods. The introductory section offers a description of the company's business activities. The theoretical part summarizes the most important findings and methods of lean production. The analytical part examines the machine in terms of production process and subsequently offers an analysis of the current state conducted in order to find bottlenecks in production. The practical part presents proposals of lean production methods implementation with the purpose of increasing the efficiency of the machine.
Optimizing the Manufacturing Process in a Company
Vrána, Jakub ; Novák, Viktor (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
This thesis deals with the management of the production process, focusing on unproductive activities. It comprises analysis of the current situation in the company Teva Czech Industries s.r.o. (the TCI) and suggestions for improvement measures. The first chapter presents theoretical basis for processing work. PMT methods, namely MTM and MOST, lean production with a focus on 5S, TPM and Kaizen are described. The second chapter is focused on the company TCI, core business, organization structure and analyzes the current status. It’s focused primarily on the process of critical non-manufacturing operations and the changeover cleaning process. The third chapter, following the analytical part consists of the proposed recommendations. The fourth chapter deals with the final evaluation.

SMED Analysis of production line and improvement proposals in order to decrease changeover times
Šrom, Jan ; Polzer, Aleš (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of production line and improvement proposals in order to decrease changeover times. To realize this task was chosen SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Dies) method. SMED is one of the many lean production methods for reducing waste in a manufacturing process. It provides a rapid and efficient way of converting a manufacturing process from running the current product to running the next product. This rapid changeover is key to reducing production lot sizes and thereby improving flow.
