The aim of this Bachelor’s thesis is the design and the analysis of the steel structure of cattle stable (300 head of cattle). The object is situated in location Jaroměřice. Ground plan dimensions are 78 x 34 metres, the height of steel structure is 11 metres – 12 metres with a skylight. The roof angle is 22,4°. The transverse links of the structure are made of the frames hinged on base footings. The frame cross-section is variable and supported by columns with round cross-section. The axial span of transverse links is 6 metres. Solved details contain joint montage, frame corner, hinged footings, bracing and frame connection, or a column and frame connection.
Návrh 3D modelu reálného ustájení skotu pro potřeby počítačových simulací

This master's thesis focuses on the creation of 3D model of real cattle housing. The model is meant to serve the needs of computer simulations in the future. The model's creation is based on a template of sample barn meant for 300 dairy cows. The drawing documentation of the barn's building serves as a basis for the creation of the model. The barn's model is made using a 3D modeling technology. For the creation of the model is used a free student version of the computer programme SolidWorks. The theoretical part of this thesis introduces the principles of animal welfare, different types of cattle housing, automatic systems in livestock farming and computer simulations. The practical part of this thesis contains the procedure of creation of individual parts of the model, their compilation and the final 3D model of the barn.

Welfare of beef cattle to pasture breeding.

The bachelor thesis is focusing on animal welfare of beef cattle raised on the pasture. The aim of this work is to track the health of cattle on the pasture, disease occurrences and influence on the performance of the herd, used metods of prevention and healing and estimated expenses. During collecting of data and their evaluation was discovered that welfare in this herd is on a good level. Regarding disseases and health problems by beef cattle there appeared only two problems by three cows retention of placenta after the calving and by two calves noninfectious diarrhoea and temperature.
