Student Bc. Michaela Ráčková in her diploma thesis will be deal with a phenomenon of revitalization of church buildings, especially design of reconversion of the former vicarage and its surroundings in the village Přítluky in South Moravia. Church buildings as churches, vicarages, convents have always been determining and dominant element in the formation of settlements. Their clear and often privileged position in the structure of settlements was determined by relationship of man to faith. This position remained them despite many ups and downs and church buildings still play an important role in the environment in which we live.
Monasteries of the Order of the Servants of Mary in Prague

This thesis deals with the problematics concerning the monasteries of the Order of the Servants of Mary in Prague, particularly during the years of 1360-1786. The focus of this work lies in the history of three servite monasteries in Prague. This work deals with both characteristics of the order and the particular events that marked its destiny. The main goal is to bring to light the development of the Order's environment until its suppression under Josef II. It next describes the fate of the monastery buildings, which today still stand as a testament of the Order's influence.

This bachelor thesis deals with continuous development of our countryside and folk architecture. Individual chapters are aimed at the development of rural residencies in different periods, different local buildings on the territory of the Czech Republic, the layout of country buildings, their constructions and typical features. An important part of folk architecture is created by farm buildings. The most important ones are described in the chapter which deals with the development of farm buildings usage, location and construction. In my thesis, there are also described numerous religious and aristocratic buildings. The last chapter pursues the folk architecture of the Vysočina region.

Religious life of Catholic Church of Vicary in Sokolov based on materials of Church Secretary between years1949-1960.

This Diploma Thesis describes in individually chosen themas in which way the Communist regime tried through its power to influence the life of Church via the Church secretary. On the chosed topics the thesis shows how the state at the beginning of totality worked out the legal conditions for the Church restrictions during the monitored years 1949-1960; and besides it shows this power to be used activaly by the Church secretaries on the district level. Individually the life in the vicary as well as other spiritual persons and buildings belonging to Church and their fates were monitored. The Thesis outlines the issues of the state getting involved in the life of Church, vicary and parish including all people in both sides of barrier.
