Factors that influence e-shopping in the Ghanaian grocery market

ABSTRACT Larbi Prince “Factors that influence e-shopping in the Ghanaian grocery market”. Bachelor Thesis. Mendel University in Brno, Brno 2019. This thesis investigates about online grocery shopping in Ghana, its objective is to discover how most Ghanaians buy groceries, the popularity and perception of online grocery shopping and its current state in Ghana. Qualitative and Quantitative data were used in this thesis, A questionnaire survey (n=220) and interviews were also conducted. Topics like E-commerce and Consumer Behavior were also analyzed in this thesis. Questionnaire surveys and interviews were conducted to ascertain the views of Ghanaians on online Grocery Shopping. A bad address system and poor road networks were some concerns raised by online grocery shopping managers in Ghana. Some respondents of the questionnaire survey in Ghana also raised the point that they could not bargain for the prices of groceries when buying online but they could bargain for better prices of groceries in the markets.
