Okus dřevin při různých způsobech ošetření proti buřeni na LHC Střílky
Navrátil, Jakub
This bachelor work "Damage of trees at different ways of protecting against weeds at LHC Střílky" examines the effectiveness of treatment for weed grazing on artificially regenerated stands. These damage caused by red deer mainly. For comparison, the authors also explored grazing on natural regeneration in designated transects, which allows us to observe the effect on various means of protection against natural way of recovery. Bachelor work also deals with not only biological, but also economics way. From the obtained results, mentions a proposal for the best solution in terms of the economy and also in terms of good growth cultures.
Vliv buřeně na odrůstání kultur douglasky tisolisté
Miksánek, Ondřej
The aim of the study was to determine the influence of weed growing up on Douglas fir cultures using different methods of protection against weeds. There were used several methods as: whole surface trimming, trimming in stripes, individual trimming, trampling, whole surface herbicide application, trimimming the grass blades to a height level. As a control area was chosen an area with no treatment against the forest weeds. The research was carried out on forest property LHC Horáková, set of forest types 5H. In the spring of 2012 was established a research area, which was divided into seven parts, each part for a different kind of protection against forest weeds. On each plot were planted approximately 200 individuals of Douglas fir. For seedlings were evaluated the following criteria: length of the aboveground parts, terminal increment, replacing of the terminal shoot by lateral shoot, thickness of the root collar, the occurrence of tress with fork trunk shape, multiple top, trunk straightness, canopy shape, color of needles, length of needles, crown base height and damage of tree by biotic and abiotic factors and total losses. There was also examined the effect of treatment against weeds on soil moisture, sunlit of seedlings on individual plots, the species composition of weed on individual plots and the influence of different intervention against weeds on the chemical composition of the assimilation apparatus. It was found out that Douglas fir exibits the greatest terminal increment on area without treatment, and after three years of research achieving an average height of 121.7 cm. But seedlings on this plot have weaker root collar (15.61 mm) and also have relatively high slenderness ratio. The strongest root collars are at the end of the research identified on a plot with individual trimming - 19.71 mm, at the same time the seedlings have comparable terminal increment to that area without any treatment (119.7 cm). The least suitable way to protect against forest weeds after three years of research, was found out herbicides treatment, because it showed the worst results. The best way in contrary seems individual trimming.
Růst dřevin a jejich okus při různých způsobech ošetření proti buřeni v regionu Krásné Hory nad Vltavou
Poslušný, Aleš
The aim of the thesis was to evaluate effect of various types of treatment against the forest weed on the following heigth and height gain of trees and damage by roe deer buds browsing. Trial sites were situated near Krásná Hora nad Vltavou on the property of Ing. Alexandre Lobkowicz. The heigth and height gain of trees was evaluted on nine trial sites. Measuring of buds browsing was realized on nine trial sites and two transects. The highest average height of trees was detected on the control site without treating against the forest weed. The highest average height gain was find out on the site by brush-mower mowing in stripes. Both trial sites and transects showed low damage of Norway spruce (Picea abies). But there was high injury of Sessile oak (Quercus petraea) and Rowan tree (Sorbus aucuparia) on transects. The lowest injury was detected on the site by brush-mower mowing in stripes. The highest damage was on the site treated by fully herbicide application.
Ekonomika ochrany mladých lesních porostů proti buřeni
Šťastný, Tomáš
The aim of this thesis is based on the analysis of literary sources name and describe the range of procedures in the protection of young plantations against from forest weed. Make a comparison of economic efficiency for the selected most important practices protection of young forest stands against from forest weed. Evaluated criteria were: the consumption of time and the amount of the costs. For the evaluation of time consumption were based of the plot, where was measured the time consumed for treatment of 1 ha of selected methods. From the measurement of the time consumption was evaluated a method of protection of cultures against weed chemically in stripes as the most productive. The consumption of time was the 12.15 hod. Contrary, the least productive seems to be the method nationwide trimming scythe, when consumption is time of 55.2 hod. For the evaluation of the above costs have been quantified the total cost of the selected methods of protection against weed. From the point of view of economic efficiency has been detected, the method of chemical protection in the lanes as the most preferred, the identified costs in the amount of 2244 CZK/ha. The highest cost for treatment of 1 ha shows the trimming scythe by the way 6227 CZK/ha.

Růst dřevin a jejich okus zvěří při různých způsobech přípravy plochy a různém ošetření proti buřeni v lokalitě Les Království
Provazníková, Pavla
The aim of this bachelor work was to evaluate the influence of various surface preparation and the effect of various ways of treating forest plantation against forest weeds on the subsequent growth and browsing by wild game. The work was implemented at Lesy ČR s.p. (Forests of the Czech Republic), in the forest range Království. Two experimental plots were marked off in selected localities. In one plot there were crushed wood chips left on the ground, in the other there were branches thrown into piles. The browsing of trees took place at 9 experimental plots and 2 transects. The smallest overall height in 2014 was evident on young plants on the plot with wood chips -- 53.8 cm. The highest growth for the year 2014 was detected on the areas with individual trimming -- 7.8 cm. The most damage by game was monitored on the plot with an area--wide herbicide application, where a total of 31 % young plants were damaged, the least damaged seemed to be the wood chipped area with a total damage of 7%. The browsing of trees in the spruce only transect resulted in 5.4 %. The spruce--beech transect was damaged by 28.6 %, with the common beech being damaged by browsing on 78 % of specimens, browsing damage was not detected on Norway spruce.
Vliv buřeně a zvěře na odrůstání kultur douglasky tisolisté
Urban, Martin
The aim of this thesis was to discover the influence of weed and animals on growth of douglas fir cultures at the management-plan area Jindřichův Hradec. Two research areas with weed (Rubus idaeus (L.) and Calamagrostis epigejos (L.) Roth) were founded in 2011 at SLT 4K and 5S. Growth reactions of douglas fir were monitored on these areas, being it areas with weed left without any intervention during the whole vegetation period or areas with regular full-area weed cutting. The following criteria were evaluated: shoot height, root crown thinkness, growth, height of forked tree sprout, crown height, trunk undulation, branching regularity, number of branches, needle length and trunk shape, soil moisture, chemical composition of the assimilation apparatus and the impact of sunshine. Altogether 512 pieces of douglas fir plants were measured. The results show that douglas fir demonstrated higher height growths every year in areas without cutting than in areas with full-scale cutting, Root crown thickness at SLT 4K was also bigger in the areas with weed. On the contrary, cutting proved to have positive effect at SLT 5S and the root crown thickness was slightly higher here. Two areas, where the influence of animals was simulated, were chosen to find out what the impact of animals on douflas fir cultures growth is. 90 plants were measured in each area and terminal bud damage, terminal shoot damage and side branches damage were compared. A control group of 10 plants, that was left without any intervention, was chosen for comparison. Subsequently their regeneration was evaluated. From the results from measured values follows that douglas plants react to damage by animals with higher height growths which balance the growth length of not-damaged plants. Damage did not even significantly influenced the trunk shape, when all types of damages managed to maintain continuous trunk for minimum of 90 percent of plants in both stands.
Rozbor možností uplatnění techniky při potlačování lesní buřeně při obnově lesa na lesním majetku města Zábřeh
Klicpera, Ondřej
The main purpose of this bachelor thesis was to describe individual methods that may be used for regeneration of forest stands and follow-up protection of cultures against forest weed and undesirable woody species in the forest property of the Municipality of Zábřeh. The described property is rather fragmented and ragged, and the conditions in individual locations are very different. Therefore all intentional forest regeneration is executed by means of undergrowth and natural regeneration. Forest glades resulting from random exploitation are forested artificially and become overgrown with weed very quickly. In my bachelor thesis I focused on four forest glades resulting from such random exploitation in locations of various sizes and with various light and trophic conditions. The goal was to compare the required time when using mechanized and manual mowing methods and frequency of actions in individual locations.
