Affect of standing frames on muscle activity of lower extremities
Oravová, Pavlína ; Ronzhina, Marina (referee) ; Kolářová, Jana (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on affect of standing frames on muscle activity of lower extremities. It deals with problematics of electromyography and signal processing. It follows up measuring EMG signal via wireless electrodes Wave Plus on verticalization equipment Balance Trainer and muscles of the lower extremities physiology, which were picked up for practical part of measurement. Part of this thesis is measuring protocol. Futhermore, the captured data is processed by programming interface MATLAB and evaluated in discussion.
Graphical methods for directional data
Tyuleneva, Anastasia ; Hlávka, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Antoch, Jaromír (referee)
Title: Graphical methods for directional data Author: Anastasia Tyuleneva Department: Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Supervisor: doc. Mgr. Zdeněk Hlávka, Ph.D., Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Abstract: This work is focused on the improvement of knowledge about the graphical directional data visualizing using different kinds of boxplot. The method and restrictions of the boxplot construction are depicted in this work, especially the need of knowledge of the relationship of sample α−quantiles to the theoretical quantiles. The first part is focused on the most importat information of the theoretical background, boxplot and its parts description. In the second part the construction of the circular boxplot for two-dimensional directional data and representation of their properties using von Mises distribution is described. The final part is consisted of a brief description of the method of construction of multidimensional boxplot or bagplot for three-dimensional Fisher distribution. Keywords: boxplot, bagplot, directional data, von Mises distribution, Fisher distribution

Statistical data evaluation
Fadrný, Tomáš ; Koška, Petr (referee) ; Maroš, Bohumil (advisor)
This diploma thesis evaluates and processes data from final device checks. All the devices are similar types of thermal overcurrent relays by the ABB company. For appropriate statistical data processing, the Minitab 14 statistical software was used and various statistical methods were applied. Results are always listed for each device type and each method used. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The first one analyzes the methods used and the second part states the method results. There is also an overall evaluation of the processed data.
