Title: Dysmenorrhea and conservative approach to affect painful menstruation - questionnaire survey Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to use a questionnaire survey to obtain information on how often painful menstruation (dysmenorrhea) occurs in women. Following this, an analysis of this data will be carried out in order to assess the possibilities of influencing and preventing painful menstruation using conservative methods, especially exercise. Methods: For the theoretical part of the thesis, a literature review was carried out. research from various sources, including the libraries of the Faculty of Physical of Charles University and the 3rd Faculty of Medicine Charles University, English-language articles, studies and university theses from databases Web of Science, Pubmed, and Theses.cz. The practical part consists of questionnaires survey and subsequent data analysis together with the results. Results: The results of my research indicate that out of a total of 576 respondents aged 15 to 30 years, up to 78 % of women suffer from painful menstruation, which indicates a high prevalence of this problem in this population. Title: Influencing of painful menstruation and associated back pain in university students using Ludmila Mojžíšová method Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to investigate the effect of Ludmila Mojžíšová method on painful menstruation and the occurrence of associated symptoms. Methods: Research is conducted in the form of an experiment. The diploma thesis includes a theoretical and a practical part. The monitored group consisted of 8 female university students with painful menstruation, in whom the doctor ruled out a more serious cause of these difficulties. The practical part was focused on examining 8 weeks of exercise of the compiled plan together with other techniques according to Ludmila Mojžíšová's method for menstrual pain. The intervention consisted of 4 individual meetings and subsequent independent exercise for 8 weeks with a frequency of ideally at least 30 minutes every day. Kinesiology analysis, anamnesis taking and non-standardized Menstrual Distress Questionnaire were chosen as data collection methods. Silvie TÁBORSKÁ Opponent: Title of bachelor thesis: The possibilities of physiotherapy in dysmenorrhea Abstract: This thesis concerns the possibilities of use of physiotherapeuthical methods by women suffering from dysmenorrhea. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part explains the process of menstruation and its difficulties. It presents the anatomy of woman's body, physiology of menstruation cycle, possible pathologies of the muscolosceletal system and their projection as pain during the menstruation cycle. It gives an overview of selected physiotherapeuthical methods used in the practical part. The practical part is focused on evaluation of questionnaire answers, examinations of randomly selected clients with dysmenorrhea, search for common pathological signs and application of physiotherapeithical methods. The purpose of this thesis is to find out the relationship between pathologies of the musculosceletal system and dysmenorrhea and possible applications of physiotherapy in pain supression.
