Bones implants based on Fe
Hávová, Mariana ; Vondrák, Jiří (referee) ; Sedlaříková, Marie (advisor)
This thesis refers to Fe-based biodegradable materials and their potencial aplications in medicine, especially as temporary bone implants. This work generaly summaries aplications of biomaterial in medicine with more interest kept on biodegradable materials and their in-vivo corrosion. The experimental part refers to conduction of porous Fe-based materials with silica addition. The structure of prepared specimens is identified by EDX and XRD analysis. The imersion test and electrochemical studies were conducted to observe corrosion behaviour with respect to different concentration of silica. Potenciodynamic curves were obtained to determine corrosion potencial and corrosion current density of prepared samples.
Biodegradabilní plasty a přírodní materiály, jejich zhodnocení a odstranění
Radová, Kateřina
The thesis deals with biodegradable plastics and natural materials. The main aim is to evaluate the increasing production of waste from the mentioned materials closely related to the methods of waste management and the legislative background concerning biodegradable waste. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part contains a literature review, which is based on academic sources. The practical part evaluates the degree of chosen samples of biodegradable plastics and natural materials based on cellulose in period one year.
Hodnocení biologicky rozložitelných materiálů v modelových podmínkách skládky, kompostu a půdě
Zourková, Andrea
The thesis focused on biologically degradable materials. It describes legal environment of the Waste management in the Czech Republic, charakteristice and structuring of biodegradable waste. Furthermode it deals with the usage of materials in various sectors and finally the elimination of biodegradable materials. The practical part examined the information about plastic cups for beveranges saying the were one hundred per cent compostable and biodegradable. Four types of the cups were chosen, placed and observed in polystyrene boxes according to the methodology to simulate the conditions of dump, compost and soil, for six moths. The results was following: two types of plastic cups were partly decomposed and the other two types were not changed at all.
Biodegradabilní obalové materiály
Smutný, Roman
This bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of biodegradable materials, especially with regard to packaging materials. They try to approach this issue and make information about these materials. In this work we find the distribution and history of classical packaging materials as well as the division of biodegradable materials. For better presentation of the packaging, photographs are included in the work.

Biodegradabilní materiály a jejich vliv na proces kompostování
Karhánková, Iveta
The main aim of diploma thesis is to evaluate the economic effect of undecomposed biodegradable plastic packaging to the composting process. The operational objective is to characterize of biodegradable plastics packaging. We will find here resolution of biodegradable packaging, what they are made of and what can be produced from them. The theoretical part of this work also outlines a normative environment associated with biodegradable plastics and waste and describes the composting process. Following the practical part which evaluates cost and revenue relationships of processing biodegradable plastics in the compost plant and summarizes the economic efficiency of composting and also the additional costs originated from composting incorrectly marked bioplastics. The last part of the work solves the socio-economic benefits of biodegradable plastics for production of packaging. The methodology of work is consists of a theoretical overview of the mentioned issues and practical results which consist of an experiment at a compost plant and calculation of the composting process including and excluding biodegradable plastics. The result of this work is to summarize benefits of biodegradable packaging plastics and their impact on composting.
