A Survey Into The Occurrence of Architectural Barriers In Public Administration Offices In Relation To Physically Handicapped People (Localities Comparison: Soběslav and Tábor)\\
VÁCHOVÁ, Tereza
The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis deals with basic terminology, defines physical handicap and describes different kinds of approach towards the handicapped. It explains the term prosthetics and describes some wheelchair mechanisms and accessories. The practical part uses a descriptive method of mapping barriers in chosen cities, that is Soběslav and Tábor. The second half of the practical part compares both localities. Based on the comparison of these data I was able to evaluate the chosen localities as to their effort to remove barriers in public administration offices.
