Development of the school in the Louňovice pod Blaníkem in historical and regional context

The thesis "Development of the School in Louňovice pod Blaníkem in Historical-Regional Context" aims to map the emergence and evolution of the school in Louňovice pod Blaníkem against the backdrop of the region, examining the development and characteristics of the municipality within its own historical context. The political and educational context in relation to the educational laws of the studied period is also considered. The methods employed in this thesis include source analysis, inductive and deductive methods, and the project method. The historical section describes the regional, historical, and economic development of the municipality, as well as the establishment and evolution of the school throughout history.The practical part focuses on a demonstration of project-based teaching in the third year. The aim is to bring students closer to the history of the school and the township, allowing them to process acquired information through experiential learning. The outcome of the thesis is a summary of the historical development of the township and school in Louňovice pod Blaníkem, along with the implementation of the project "School: Past and Present." Cultivation and using of herbs at primary school

This diploma thesis is focussed on the cultivation and subsequent use of herbs (medical plants) in teaching at the 1st grade of primary school. The literary part contains information about cultivation and collection of herbs, an overview of selected species and the effects of these medical plants. Part of the diploma thesis is the creation of an educational program for pupils of a selected class on the topic of cultivation and using herbs. The work also deals with a survey at selected primary schools where the current level of cultivation was monitored and the use of herbs in primary schools. The results of the questionnaire are used to create a picture of whether teachers use school gardens or school interiors to grow medical plants or herbs.
Social pedagogue in the role of teacher assistant in primary education

In last few years there have been certain legislative changes concerning the care of children with special educational needs. These are children with the need of support in all types of schools. This means there are more often children with specific learning disorders in schools who need the support of the pedagogical assistant to be successfully integrated. The Special pedagogy graduate can work as a pedagogical assistant. The goal of this thesis is to find out and describe how does the cooperation between an assistant and a pupil (pupils), teachers and parents in on ordinary primary school work and also how is this cooperation evaluated by its participants. Another goal of this thesis is to find out how do assistants evaluate their preparedness for this work in some areas. The theoretical part deals with the problematics of the educational and social inclusion and describes the wanted changes in the approach of schools and teachers. This part also explains the role of the pedagogical assistant, describes the work content and defines needed competences. The practical part introduces the qualitative research focused on pedagogical assistants in specific schools.
Importance of Probiotics in the Diet of Pupils in the Second Stage of Basic Education

Positive effect of probiotics consumption on human health was discovered at the beginning of the last century. A number of scientific studies continuously test and clarify this effect to discover more types of probiotic microorganisms and thereby bring new probiotic food and food supplements to the market. The question is, if increasing public awareness and interest corresponds with recent tendency. This study includes theoretical background of the probiotics issue, biological basis, history and technology of probiotics microorganism and discussion of positive effects on consumer's health. The other aim of the study is to find out what knowledge has secondary school students about probiotics and also what role plays probiotics in their lives. TITLE: Knowledge and attitudes towards HIV / AIDS among adolescents in the selected region AUTHOR: Bc. Magdalena Sajdlová DEPARTMENT: Department of education and social education, department of health education SUPERVISOR: Peadr. Eva Marádová, Csc. ABSTRACT: The thesis is divided into the two parts. The first part describes basic information about HIV and AIDS - the essence of the disease, transmission of disease, method of spreading the principles of diagnosis, therapy options. I describe the basic principles of prevention for a wide strata of the population and the basic principles of teaching, education and prevention in the elementary school. The second part is called research investigation. It describes the basic structure of the work. The research part contains the way of teaching of HIV and AIDS in three selected elementary schools and one selected secondary school in eighth classes. Information was obtained using a questionnaire, where I find the knowledge and attitudes of pupil sin individual schools and an interview with a teacher who has taught this subject. The results of the schools compare with each other. Based on the results of the evaluation recommendations processing (content, form) for individual schools. Development of Educational System in Pelhřimov Region with Concentration on a Small School with Mixed-age Classes in Častrov village

1 ABSTRAKT The aim of the thesis was to eleborate the development process of the Častrov comprehensive primary school in the district Pelhřimov based on the school chronicles and refer to the contribution of the acquired knowledge for the schoolwork. The theoretical part is devoted to the study of commemorative books and also in the wider perspective of the whole P elhřimovsko region. The practical part describes a project carried out with pupils of this school. The purpose was to acquaint the pupils with the history of Častrov school through activation methods and have their impact on the school and the place where they live.
Possibilities of support in the education of the second generation immigrant pupils

The prime subject this thesis is the issue of support in the education of pupils from the second generation of Ukrainian migrants in primary schools. The theoretical part is devoted to the definition of basic concepts, a summary of the findings from previous research on the second generation of migrants, an analysis of the legislative framework, which accompanies explored problems, and identification of the potential risks posed by the pupils migrant background. The aim of the research section was to determine specific barriers in the process of education and integration of pupils from the second generation of Ukrainian migrants and what forms and means of support in the field of education and social inclusion are used by teachers on these students. The necessary data was obtained with the help of semi-structured interviews with selected educators, with young people from the second generation of Ukrainian migrants, and with a specialist who is engaged in integration counseling. The result of this research is a definition of specific needs of pupils from the second generation of Ukrainian migrants, in particular the achievement of their educational potential in the development of linguistic competence and shaping of positive self-concept and psychological well-being, as well as a description of...
