Using of automatic in home for document manipulation
Němeček, Ladislav ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with means of using automation for manipulation and processing of different kinds of documents in the home. It describes the current state of manipulation and processing of physical and digital documents and the automation of their management and usage. The thesis showcases currently available technologies dealing with digitalization and automation of modern living and the concept of the smart home. It proposes appropriate automatic computer solutions and suggests appropriate software and procedures for automatic processing of text and other household documents.
Scientific Web Portal Generator
Růžička, Štěpán ; Vyskočil, Michal (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
In this document I am talking about dynamic web application, which I am making via Ruby on Rails, XML, MySQL and AJAX technology. Introduce describes, why I have chosen this job, and what you can find in this document. Next part is about Ruby on Rails and XML, where I am describing how to use REXML library and what it offers to you. There are some examples to better understanding that. Continuing with describing libraries, which can offer dynamic, sound and some other effects. Prototype and script.aculo.us are described there and some examples as well. Semifinal chapter is about Web portal generator in general at first and next about single steps when I was working on my application. In last one chapter I am trying to look on my application from user's point of view. I am describing the way, how I tried to make application better for usual user. I joined some reactions from persons who had the opportunity to work with my application. Document terminates by resume of gained experiences.
Automatic processing of microseismic data and their relation to the hydraulic injection
Vlček, Josef ; Fischer, Tomáš (advisor) ; Plicka, Vladimír (referee) ; Růžek, Bohuslav (referee)
Microseismic monitoring is an integral part of scientific experiments or industrial operations associated with the hydraulic fracturing of bedrock, which is an effort to increase the permeability of rocks in the area and improve the exploitation, whether of heat, oil or natural gas. Monitoring of such newly formed or growing original fractures, usually followed by seismic events, is very important for observation and describing the hydraulic fracturing itself and its progress over time. Since the number of such events recorded is usually very high, classical methods of earthquake processing, where the arrival times of seismic waves are determined manually, seem to be very inappropriate. For this reason, automatic methods are used to process such datasets, which do not require manual determination of the arrival times of the seismic waves. In our case, the data were recorded by a dense network of surface receivers arranged in the shape of a ten-arm star. It was a total of more than nine hundred groups of vertical geophones, of which more than a quarter were also supplemented by a three-component seismic sensor. We then created an automatic procedure for the described network, the result of which is the determination of the location and the source mechanism for each seismic event. The recorded...
