VEŠKRNOVÁ, Martina
Abstract The bachelor thesis is devoted to the investigation of the art therapeutic potential of different forms of the anima archetype in patients with affective disorders and their relation to this archetype. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces C.G. Jung's analytical psychology and his concept of archetypes, and focuses on the anima/animus archetype and its 3 forms, which are selected for this bachelor thesis. In the theoretical part, the clinical area on which the thesis focuses, i.e. the area of affective disorders, the specifics of diagnosis and therapy are presented. Furthermore, the most common comorbidity associated with affective disorders are mentioned. The knowledge about art therapy with mental patients and artwork of patients with affective disorders is presented, group art therapy and projective-intervention art therapy are discussed. The practical part describes the artistic creation of patients with affective disorder in art therapy groups, deals with the artistic processing of the anima/animus archetype in the assigned themes, the course of group art therapy and the interpretation of artefacts. The exploration of artefacts is ongoing throughout the group art therapy process. The final results highlight the art therapeutic potential of specific themes and their use in art therapy work with a group of patients with affective disorders.
