Anxious Children of Younger School Age in Religious Education

The work is focused on anxious children of younger school age in religious education. The first part of the work contains definitions and differentiation of the concept anxiety and fear. There are anxious children described from a view of psychology. There are named main factors influencing increased anxiety (natural dispositions, family, school, difficult living situations). Younger school age is described from a view of evolutionary psychology. The work deals with pedagogical communication with anxious children. The last part of the work deals with religious education at primary school. It poses a question, how religious education can help anxious children to cope with their anxiety. Concrete themes, especially suitable for work with anxious children in religious education, are presented there.
