Estimation of the Position of the Feet in a Image
Havlíček, Lukáš ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Goldmann, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and implementation of solution for estimating the position of the feet in the image, focusing on cases where the feet are covered in the image. The area of anthropometry, neural networks, solution design and implementation and subsequent experiments are described here. The solution uses own convolutional network, implemented using the Keras interface with the creation of own dataset with a focus on covered legs. In the experiments, other points on the body are used to increase accuracy.
Anthropometric research of the adult population and its applications in interiors and architecture
Kovařík, Martin ; Petelen, Ivan (referee) ; Hronský, Michal (referee) ; Doc.Ing.Veronika Kotradyová,PhD. (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor)
This thesis focuses on research in the field of anthropometric measurements of the adult population, its history, basic concepts and research itself, conducted under the author’s leadership of the NIS project at the Mendel University in Brno. The research results and its application in the field of interiors and furniture should be used to revise the architectural patterns and standards dealing with the relations on the axis between man – interior – furniture. It describes the relations of individual parameters, a person's height and weight, their development depending on age and sex, compares the height curve growth in Czech population and in Europe. The results of the work should serve as a basis for revising the existing typological principles and standards with regard to new results; in conclusion the author proposes conceptual changes of the fixed schemes in relations of man and interior.
Influence of autism on facial morphology
Cenková, Klára ; Velemínská, Jana (advisor) ; Harnádková, Katarína (referee)
Autism (ASD) is a severe pervasive neurodevelopmental disorder with an as yet unclear etiology but increasing incidence. Early diagnosis and early initiation of therapy are crucial to the success of its treatment and to improving the quality of life of individuals with PAS. The identification of biomarkers in the form of specific facial features of individuals with autism can contribute significantly to facilitating diagnosis. These facial dysmorphologies have their basis in the prenatal period as a consequence of the common and interacting embryogenesis of the face and brain and reflect the neurodevelopmental basis of autism. Using special anthropometric methods, specific facial phenotypes can be determined, which can also be used to classify individuals with PAS into groups according to the severity of the disorder. Key words: Autism, facial dysmorphology, ASD, biomarkers, anthropometry
Ergonomie kostelní lavice
Větrovská, Klára
This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the ergonomics of the church pew and its own design. In the first part, we familiarize ourselves with the spiritual and material significance of the church pew and its needs and differences from other sitting furniture. This section also explains the concepts of ergonomics and anthropometry. It introduces their history and significance to man. The second part contains specific measurements of church pews and an analysis of measured values. The data is shown in the charts. In the third part, the creation of a custom design of a church pew made of solid wood, including a reshuffle, is recorded. There are three designs in both 2D and 3D execution and more detailed processing of the final design, which includes a description of the production.
Comparison of somatic parameters of female canoe sprint and canoe slalom competitors
Tulachová, Johana ; Busta, Jan (advisor) ; Bílý, Milan (referee)
Title of project: Comparison of somatic parameters of female canoe sprint and canoe slalom competitors Objectives of the work: The aim of this work is to compare the anthropometric parameters (body structure and body composition) of sprint canoe and canoe slalom female competitors. Methods of data processing: Anthropometric measurement was carried out by Riegerová, Přidalová, Ulbrichová (2006) and all parameters were all in accordance with the ISAK methodology used in the study by Ridge et al. (2007). A Harpenden-type caliper was used to measure skinfolds. Somatotypes were determined according to the methodology of Carter & Heath (1990). A bioimpedance scale (Tanita MC-980) was used for body composition analysis. The data were subsequently analyzed using descriptive (mean, standard deviation, median, minimum and maximum value, %) and exploratory statistics to assess statistical (T- test, p<0.05) and substantive (Cohen's d, d>0.8 ) of the significance of the difference between female in canoe sprint and canoe slalom. Results: In the compared groups, significant statistical differences were recorded in the circumferences of the biceps (p=0.00, d=1.43), forearms (p=0.04) and thighs (p=0.00, d=1.87). Sprint female canoeists and kayakers, on average, have a higher body weight by almost 4 kg, also a...
Effects of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation on the upper limb function of people with C4-C5 spinal cord injury
Halamová, Adéla ; Zvelebilová, Pavlína (advisor) ; Melicharová, Hana (referee)
Title: Effects of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation on the upper limb function of people with C4-C5 spinal cord injury The main objective: The aim of the work was to find out what effect the use of the proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation method will have on the function, muscle volume and ranges of movements of the upper limb in people who are affected by a spinal cord lesion in the C4 and C5 region. Furthermore, the work dealt with the subjective feeling of the patients, whether the upper extremity improved after the therapy and if it was possible to involve it more in ADL activities. Methods: 5 probands took part in the study - all men with an average age of 41 years. A total of 3 measurements were performed for the study participants - approx. 2 months before the start of the intervention, before the start of the therapy and after the end. Values such as the volume of the arm muscles in contraction, the range of motion of abduction in the shoulder joint and flexion in the elbow joint were recorded. Another measured subject was the forearm endurance test. Participants also filled out the SCIM form before and after graduation. Probands practiced the method of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation of the 1st diagonal in addition to their regular therapy. They were also instructed...

This bachelor's thesis contains proposal of the constructional solution of the operating desk at the pizzeria and it respects client and safety requirements for furniture according to valid standards. Constructional solution is composed of drawing documentation and accepts production and client requirements. It also includes bills of material, economic evaluation, calculation of costs and visualizations. This bachelor's thesis deals with themes of creating of public interiors and constructional solutions of the furniture in these interiors, anthropometry and ergonomics. The thesis takes into account qualities of used materials. There is also research of present solutions of solved interior and its evaluation. This information is used for determination of own solution with regard to specified requirements.
Návrh konstrukčního řešení nábytkového stavebnicového systému
Šmíd, Libor
As theme of this work was chosen project of the modular system designed for company of the Ing. Luděk Jekl. This work is focused primarily at the constructional solution. In work there are established theoretical way out creations of modular systems. With them are related research solutions of the current modular systems, which are established in next chapter. Next there are stated a possible used materials and total disposition working and functional zones of the modular system, which is necessarily for creating optimal conditions needed for work. Namely it is in terms of anthropometry and ergonomics. At next part of the work there are stated requests from submitter and custom constructional solution of the modular system. Part of the solution constructional drawing, bill of materials and visualization of the proposal. At last there is stated economic evaluation because the price is mostly a primary factor at the decision.
Návrh konstrukčního řešení vybavení prostorů šatny podle předloženého návrhu a zadaných požadavků
Poloch, Jan
This bachelor's thesis requires proposal of the closet's constructional solution and its furniture facilities in the villa. All project owner's conditions are respected and the solution fulfils requirements according to the valid norms including safety demands. The proposal of the constructional solution is generated as the drawing of producing documentation including relevant bill of materials, economical evaluation of the material outlays and visualizations. There are also worked out theoretical possibilities in this thesis which were taken into consideration during the very solving.
