The bachelor thesis is dealing with equal treatment in work performance from the point of view of Czech antidiscrimination law n. 198/2009 Sb. This work includes explanation of terms concerning discrimination. For instance, types of discrimination, acceptable forms of discrimination, development of legal legislation in the field of protection of equal treatment of employees and job applicants. The thesis includes protective measures against discrimination and models of discrimination in the labour market as well. All terms relate to labour market. In practical part, based on interview with the company, the position of employees in specific company is analysed from the point of view od discrimination. The was company decides among potential job applicants. The conclusion is devoted to recommendations.
Prohibition of discrimination in labor relations on grounds of gender

This thesis deals with the prohibition of discrimination in labor law relations on grounds of gender. Discrimination in labor law relations is only part of the broad issue of discrimination, but the importance of labor relations in the society makes this issue it very important. Discrimination on grounds of gender is specific in that it covers a wide range of social groups, and despite the long development and changes in society, which was achieved with great effort of many organizations and individuals, is still the subject to date. The objective of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive view on the issue by analysis of the evolution of sex discrimination in the historical context, analysis of current legislation and isolating social phenomena that have influence on this issue. The thesis consists of an introduction, four chapters and conclusion. The first chapter is devoted to defining the basic terms and their evolution and changes in historical context. This chapter is divided into two parts, each of which addresses one of the main concepts of this work. These concepts are equality and discrimination. The prohibition of discrimination in labor relations

My thesis is focused on the prohibition of discrimination in labor relations. This topic is very large and in future its content will continue to expand. Discrimination occurs in all areas of human life, dangerous a frequently occurring is in the area of labor relations. The aim of this thesis is to analyze legislation of anti-discrimination law in area of labor relations. I will also deal with analyzes of important judgments of the Court of justice of the EU and of the Czech courts. The first chapter defines the basic concepts, which related to the topic of thesis. The second chapter deals with issue of discrimination in labor relations in international law. International legislation is divided on the basis of international organizations that issued these rules. It's mainly United Nations, the Council of Europe and from the area of international organizations which related with labor law, it is International Labour Organization. The third chapter presents anti-discrimination law and case law in the European Union and its impact on the law of the Czech Republic. Discrimination in the labour market, differences caused by gender

The bachelor thesis deals with discrimination in the labour market caused by reason of gender, by another name it deals with sex-based discrimination. The theoretic part is based upon the theory of discrimination which is extended by the themes of gender, its inequalities in the labour market and in the organizations. The aim of practical part is then, how the actual situation in the labour market is from the view of gender and analyse the experience of people with the gender inequalities in consequence by the help of my own questionnaire. In spite of better situation in the labour market, people can still meet the gender inequalities which are disappearing very slowly and therefore obstructing the beginning of the total gender equation.
