Possibilities of measurement anti-Müllerian hormone in women
VOBORSKÁ, Kateřina
This thesis focuses on the anti?-Müllerian's hormone (AMH), its determination and using in clinical practice. In males it is synthesized in Sertoli cells of the testes since in early stage of embryonal development and then during the whole life. It is also formed in females in ovaries. AMH expression is critical to sex differentiation at a specific time during fetal development. AMH can also serve as a molecular biomarker for relative size of the ovarian reserve in females. Comparison of an individual's AMH level with respect to average levels is useful like marker in fertility assessment. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to determine AMH in serum levels AMH by using Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) in cancer malignancies. Furthermore, all results were compared with groups of healthy females in dependence on age.
