This thesis is focused on the economic analysis of the brewing industry in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes the main terminology that characterizes the agrarian sector, the current form of agricultural enterprises, the basic characteristics of the brewing industry, methods of competitiveness analysis and methods of economic analysis. The thesis itself characterizes the development tendencies in the Czech Republic in the brewing industry, where in 2010 the brewing industry started a gradual upward trend in all aspects under study. Furthermore, the competitiveness analysis is elaborated, the conditions acting on the brewery market are defined, and the selected brewery is characterized, for which a SWOT analysis and a financial analysis are compiled. The SWOT analysis pointed out that the company could expand more into the foreign market and reach more customers. The financial analysis clarified that there was mainly a reduction in assets during the period under review, which was due to the reduction of fixed assets. From a financial point of view, the company is performing well and has a good market position.

The diploma thesis focuses on the position and performance of the agricultural business in the current agribusiness environment in the Czech Republic. A selected agricultural com-pany, which is PROAGRO Radešínská Svratka, a.s., is characterized in the thesis. The business core of this company is crops, animal and other production. An important line of the agricultural business is the milk commodity and the production of biogas. Selected indicators of financial analysis were used to evaluate the economic situation of the company. Based on that, it has been concluded that the company is in an acceptable financial situation. It can respond appropriately to the stimuli from the outside environment through its strategic decisions. The thesis draws attention to the main milestones of strategic decisions and their causes. It also considers possible future threats.

Agrární zahraniční obchod Srbsko - Chorvatsko - Bosna a Hercegovina

The master thesis is focused on evaluation of the territorial and commodity structure as well as flows of the main products within the agrarian foreign trade of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia. The thesis describes the development of agriculture and important agricultural areas of the studied countries located in the Western Balkan region and their position towards the European Union. It is focused on the detail of the carrier commodities definition within crop (wheat, corn, potatoes, soybeans) and livestock (cattle, pigs and sheep) production and on the foreign trade in these commodities. The master thesis also assesses the overall dynamics of agrarian foreign trade of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia, the evolution of territorial and commodity structure as well as identification of product groups between the years of 2006 and 2021.

Charakter komoditní vertikály mléko - mléčné produkty

The bachelor thesis deals with the characteristics of the milk commodity chain and dairy products within agribusiness in the Czech Republic. The work explains the commodity vertical in general, focusing on the commodity with milk. It analyzes and evaluates the stocks of dairy cattle, the production of raw milk, the purchase of raw milk by dairies, the consumption of semi-skimmed milk and butter and their price levels in individual agricultural markets from 2010 to 2020. There are characteristics and descriptions of the production of selected dairy products and also describes the dairy sector in the Czech Republic. Based on the results, the work evaluates self-sufficiency in the dairy industry, where it is possible to increase the export of milk and dairy products abroad. The price levels of this commodity are determined by global prices, at which our raw milk is below the average price of the European Union.

This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of trends and context of foreign trade dynamics of the Czech Republic with live cattle and cattle meat in its territorial and commodity structure. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the role of live cattle within farming systems and in relation to use of natural resources. Furthermore, the current business structure of agribusiness and the role of agrarian and foreign trade is characterized. The practical part deals with the identification of cattle market development tendencies, analysis and evaluation of foreign trade. The Czech Republic has a comparative advantage in trade with live cattle, which is constantly growing. In the market of cattle meat the Czech Republic loses, does not gain the comparative advantage and imports from abroad.

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the development of wheat commodity vertical, characterize the decisive markets commodity verticals and to describe their current development. The first part describes the basic concepts that are closely related to the topic of bachelor thesis. The thesis explains economic theories about the functioning of the market, agribusiness and describes the selected commodity with the course of the whole commodity verticals. In the second, practical part, are analyzed and graphically processed factors, which influencing the commodity market. The conclusion of the thesis is the evaluation of all acquired data and knowledge. The work evaluated the development of growing areas, production, yields, consumption and production, price development, as well as the foreign market. The growing market power was confirmed by the results of individual commodity verticals.

The diploma thesis is focused on identification of factors influencing commodity vertical of sheep. This vertical is compared with similar commodity of goat. The thesis classifies the development of this commodity on the market in Czech republic and compares it with the development in the market of EU member states. The study evaluates the development of sheep quantity status. The supply and demand side of the market as well as the proportional changes related to the foreign trade of the Czech Republic with this commodity are also examined. On the basis of the data determined by the market analysis, this commodity is evaluated. On the basis of the results obtained, it can be stated that the sheep commodity is only a marginal commodity in the Czech Republic and within the EU belongs the Czech Republic among the states with the smallest sheep population.

This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the current situation and the development of market environment of the commodity vertical of beef in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes the agrarian sector as well as the applied instruments of the Common Agricultural Policy. Furthermore, the theory of agribusiness is specified along with the definition of the commodity vertical of beef. The analysis of the market environment of the given commodity in the Czech Republic follows, including the examination of price development. The thesis also covers foreign trade within the European Union and an analysis of the market environment for live cattle and beef at the largest European business partners.

Změny v postavení zemědělského podniku v současném prostředí agrobyznysu České republiky

Ivo Zdráhal, Ph.D. This diploma thesis deals with developmental changes of an agricultural business environment. In the theoretical section, this development is observed at a moni-tored company PATRIA Kobylí, a.s. The acquired knowledge is further verified in the practical section. The thesis is elaborated in form of a case study which aims to evaluate the development since the founding of the company till the present, and to reflect selected indicators such as sowing areas, yields from the area and prices in the company. Those indicators are compared with the statistical data of the Czech Republic. Three core commodities (winter wheat, milk, apricots and wine) were selected to examine the indicators. Last but not least, the thesis also deals with the strategy of diversification of activities, which is represented by production of plastic constructions. A SWOT analysis suggested strategies which are to be seen as opportunities for future plans. A financial analysis of the company and grants that play a large part in the company´s profitability are included in the final segment of the diploma thesis. Vývoj komoditní vertikály kukuřice v podmínkách České republiky

The bachelor thesis deals with the development of maize commodity vertical in the Czech republic, evaluation of individual economic contexts, development of commodity price levels,international trade of maize. On the basis of the data, it assesses the position and structure of Czech maize growing in our country. The results of the work showed an increasing amount of balanced maize grains and a constant reference to the use of feed. For maize harvested with green and silage, the trend was to use corn for biogas, and same as corn for grain, it is still a link to feed.
