Diffusion in humic gels.
Královič, Michal ; Pospíšilová, Ľubica (referee) ; Klučáková, Martina (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focuses on study of heavy metals diffusion in humic gels. The objective of the work was to verify, whether the diffusion is influenced by methylation of humic acid. Cupric and nickel cation was used in this thesis. Absorbance of solutions in acceptor and donor diffusion cell part was measured spektrofotometrically.
Barrier properties of hydrogels
Královič, Michal ; Kalina, Michal (referee) ; Klučáková, Martina (advisor)
The main objective of this thesis is to judge the barrier properties of hydrogels. It was examined in total six kinds of agarose hydrogels, of which five kinds of gels was enriched with humic acids isolated from various sources. Humic acids were selected from IHSS standards, specifically Leonardite, Elliott Soil, Suwannee River, Pahokee Peat and Nordic Lake. Using UV-VIS spectrometry, copper ion concentrations were used to serve as a diffusion solution. Results of diffusion coefficients were evaluated by several diffusion methods. The method of diffusion in the plane of the board and three possible diffusion solutions of the constant source were used.
Device for measurement of electrochemical cells characteristics by the cyclic voltammetry
Kučera, Vojtěch ; Bilko, Radek (referee) ; Lábus, Radek (advisor)
The thesis deals with observation of cells parameters. One of the potential solutions for observing the characteristics of cells are utilization the electrochemical analyse called voltametry. Its fundamental consists of loading variable voltage in between two electrodes dipped in electrolytic solution and monitoring flowing current. The point of the thesis is to build up the measuring workplace, which can provide this measurement. We suggest utilization of modern laboratory technique and connection the measuring instruments with PC. The first part of the thesis deals with theoretical knowledge of used functions and describes theirs mathematics definitions. The second part deals with proceeding of workplace realization, instrument connection with PC and development application in computer’s language. Result is measuring workplace, which can provide observing cells according to entered parameters.
Determination and evaluation of cosmetic ointment and design of label according to actual legislation
Trávníčková, Eva ; Bečica, Aleš (referee) ; Souralová Popelková, Miriam (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on the study olephylic formulations – ointments and cream type of V/O. This thesis gives out information about production, use and properties 3 cosmetic ointments and about properties baby´s skin cream and the study of stability of these products in the presence of antioxidants - tocopherol acetate and rosemary extract. Ointments are made from hemp oil, olive oil and shea butter and chamomile extract. Each ointment is produced in two versions. Once the use of vitamin E as an antioxidant, a second is used as an antioxidant extract from rosemary. Among other important substances with positive effects on human skin include, for example, saturated fatty acids such as palmitic acid and stearic acid, unsaturated fatty acids such as oleic, linoleic, and more. Ointments are suitable for greasing dry to very dry skin hands, face and other body parts. The thesis also discusses the current legislation, which producer of cosmetics must comply, the details which must be placed on the label of a cosmetic product and it contains proposals of cosmetic labels Further thesis includes studying methods for determination of lipid characterizations were used for study of behaviour of ointments during time and during storage at different temperatures. They include iodine, acid, peroxide and saponification values. The ester value and the content of glycerol were counted.
Influences of pickling on coating bonding power
Staněk, Vít ; Žák, Ladislav (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
Works created within the engineering studies in collaboration with IDEAL-Trade service discusses the influence of pickling acids on steel material and on the same material with powder coated . Based on the literature study and consultations with employees of the company were designed each experiment, investigators removal and acid corrosion attack , another verify adhesiveness powder coatings for various periods of exposure pickled material. Experiments and tests were carried out in companies ECOS , ITS and faculty FSI.
