Financial analysis of a chosen company

The aim of this work is to evaluate the financial situation of a chosen company based on the data from the financial statements. The theoretical part is focused on an over-view of professional literature in the field of financial analysis and its methods. The practical part deals with the analysis of financial statement data by vertical and horizontal analysis of the selected company, analysis of ratio indicators and bankruptcy models. It also compares some of the indicators' values with competitors in the sector.

Financial analysis - comparison of two agricultural companies

This bachelor thesis analyses two companies, which are Zemědělská společnost Šmolovy a.s. and Zemědělská akciová společnost Lípa. The thesis is divided into two main parts. In the first part, methodical, are defined and explained selected indicators of financial analysis. These indicators are applied to financial data of companies and results are interpreted in the second practical part. This part also contains brief descriptions of companies and comparison between the detected values of these companies.

Bachelor thesis is focused on the financial analysis of the Brewery Svijany, Inc. during years 2006-2009. It is divided into two parts, methodical and practical. The methodical part is focused on the object and purpose of the financial analysis, its sources and methods. Knowledge, gained in this section, will be taken up in the practical part where the specific value of the Brewery Svijany, Inc. will be used. The results from the practical part will be summarized, the development of the company in the analyzed years will be briefly outlined and the future development will be estimated in conclusion.
