Lens Distortion Correction
Doležel, Michal ; Seeman, Michal (referee) ; Šiler, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with methods of removing digital photographies aberrations caused by photographical lens distortions. It describes the most frequent lens aberrations, deals with their causes, followed by consequences of these aberrations on destination pictures and ways of their removing from digital photographies. The main goal of the thesis is to design and implement tools for removing lens distortions aberrations from a digital photography. The application was created in C++ programming language with the support of Cimg and Imagemagick libraries. The application was also developed and tested for MS Windows XP and Linux Kubuntu 7.10 operation systems. The results are compared with professional tools for digital photography processing.
Modelling of the Visual Perception
Faruga, Michal ; Hemzal, Dušan (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
This diploma thesis considers with human vision and human eye. It takes into account both anatomic view and physiology standpoints. There is, among others, description of optical processes occurring in the organ of the sight mentioned in the work. The human eye suffers from optical defects – aberrations – that are able to degrade the retinal image and ultimately visual performance. Substantial part of the text deals with these aberrations. There are also analysed possibilities of their elimination using an inverse aberration. Work also assumes opportunity to optical modeling to calculate distorted images from ocular aberration data. Practical part consist of software application created using Matlab environment ver. 6.5 as well as full documentation. The examples of outputs procured using this application are published. Both software application and detail documentation are included on CD.
Aberační změny u fluvizemí vlivem intenzivního způsobu hospodaření
Fleková, Šárka
Diploma thesis „Aberration of fluvisol as affected by intensive agriculture management“ aims at the determination of selected soil properties, which can help us to assess the aberration changes. These can be positive or negative depending on agro-technical measures. Gleyic Fluvisol Clayic is under long-term monoculture of spring barely and under Norfolk crops rotation system. We followed soil reaction, buffering capacity, available nutrients content, and soil organic matter content and quality. Data set was evaluated by one-way ANOVA analysis and t-test (P=0,05). Negative aberration was confirmed in exchangeable soil reaction and soil organic carbon content. Positive aberration was found out in total nitrogen content, C/N ratio, and available nutrients. Effect of soil tillage and crops residues managements was not statistically significant.
Hodnocení aberace půdy vybraných katastrů okresu Třebíč
Nováček, Miroslav
This bachelor thesis focuses on farmland aberration, which is the change in soil properties over time, this change can be positive or negative. To determine the form of aberration, the results of soil analysis were compared with the results of a Comprehensive soil survey from 1965, in the cadastral area of the municipalities of Hartvíkovice and Popůvky in the Třebíč district. The compared values include mainly soil exchange reaction, grain size and humus content. Various soil degradation processes, including water and wind erosion, acidification, loss of organic matter and compaction, cause the negative aberration. After analysis, the results showed that for all the probes examined, positive aberration occurred with an increase in pH and humus content. There was a change in the grain composition of the soils and some soil horizons were shortened.
Classical limit of relativistic dynamical fields
Hruška, Ondřej ; Podolský, Jiří (advisor) ; Svítek, Otakar (referee)
In this work, we summarise existing results concerning the absence of "gravitational aberration" in Einstein's general theory of relativity, i.e., the fact that the gravitational "force" points towards the instantaneous position of objects with mass, although the field propagates at the speed of light. The electromagne- tic interaction behaves similarly. Thanks to that, the classical limit with infinite speed of propagation of electricity and gravitation is a good approximation of relativistic fields. We use the Liénard-Wiechert potentials to compute the corre- sponding electric field, and the Christoffel symbols calculated from the metric of so-called photon rocket to determine the gravitational acceleration. We analyse the magnitude and direction of the interaction in both cases. Our own contri- bution is an attempt to interpret the direction of gravitation interaction in the context of de Sitter universe with non-zero cosmological constant.

Mathematical Methods and Exercises in Astronomy
BROM, Jiří
The aim of this thesis is to create collections of examples for the subject Astronomy taught for students of pedagogical faculties, studying this discipline as a part of physics courses. Due to very different mathematical knowledge of students I have chosen typical and not much difficult examples oriented to several branches of astronomy. Each part of examples begins with a self-contained theoretical introduction. The difficulty rises gradually from trivial to more complicated examples. The examples are mainly focused on motions in radial gravitational fields.
