Subject of this thesis is to design and evaluate the multipurpose sports hall for a permanent,climate and traffic load. Light range of construction is 42,900 m, clear height at its highest point is 10,824 m. The construction is located in Brno. The main load-bearing elements of constructionare two-juncture arcs of constant cross-section of glued laminated timber class GL24h, axially remote 3,000 m. Trusses are transversely connected by purlins from solid wood for strengthclass C20 axially remote 1,100 m. The entire construction is braced by four transverse bracing,consisting of a rods system.
