Organizational process model
Šindelářová, Šárka ; Řepa, Václav (advisor) ; Saska, Jiří (referee)
This thesis covers with the topic of process management and organization modeling. The goal is to design a future state of process architecture in selected department of a multi-national company, which is based on ISO / IEC TR 29110-5-1-2:2011 for very small entities, complemented by techniques of agile methodologies. The final form of the future proposal includes the conceptual and detail design according to the aforementioned standard, supported by the selected agile techniques, adjusted for the results of the differential analysis of conceptual and detail design and current status. The theoretical part presents the issue of process management and modeling standards and a methodology for modeling and control of IT processes. The practical part is devoted to the application of the selected standard for IT management processes and agile techniques that support this standard. The proposed process architecture is modeled using the selected methodology MMABP and prescribed standards. The work can serve as an inspiration for the company that would be suited a combination of traditional and agile approaches to IT.
The proposal to use agile development procedures of Scrum framework with UML modeling language applicable for creating websites
Kučera, Antonín ; Oškrdal, Václav (advisor) ; Luc, Ladislav (referee)
The main goal of this diploma thesis is the proposal to use agile development procedures of Scrum framework with UML modeling language applicable for creating websites of small scale. The emphasis is especially put on creating a practically usable type model of the websites. The theoretical part of the thesis has two main chapters. In the "Agile methodology" chapter are listed principles of agile approach to creating software. The next part of this chapter is focus on agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, ASD, FDD, DSDM, LD and Crystal). In the "UML" chapter is introduced modeling language UML and its principles. The next part of this chapter is focus on UML diagrams used in practical part of this thesis (use case diagram, class diagram, sequence diagram, activity diagram and deployment diagram). The practical part of this thesis focuses on the design type model for creating websites of small scale. The type model is based both on the theoretical part of this work and practical experience of the author. In the first part is introduced scheme of model, where is shown the mutual relationship of individual phases. In the next part of this chapter are discussed the individual phases where is used the principle of agile development framework Scrum and examples of use of the UML diagrams.
Research of agile development tools
Neumann, Jiří ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Balada, Jakub (referee)
Agile methodologies get more and more into the awareness of project managers. Long-term and unsuccessful projects can mean big risk for companies. Especially in highly competitive industries rapid delivery of a functional product is preferred to comprehensive documentation. For efficient management of agile development appropriate tools are needed. This bachelor thesis is based on these tools. It describes the current state in the market in these instruments, explaining what it can offer to agile teams and it also represents the best-known products of companies like Rally Software, VersionOne, TargetProcess and ExtremePlanner. For product comparison there are appropriate criteria proposed in the thesis. The results of the comparison are identified advantages and disadvantages of each instrument for both the community and the enterprise version of the software.
