Změna tvaru nožní klenby u kojenců a její vliv na kvalitu opory
MÁLKOVÁ, Renata
Nowadays, it is modern to treat young children as if they are adults, even if they are not ready for lots of things in many different ways. Parents dress them into jeans, they put them into shoes, they try to learn them how to stand before their body is even prepared for it. All of these things can cause lots of problems in the future without the parents even knowing. Foot developement is from the ontogenetic point of view a really individual thing and it has a link to psychomotor developement of the individual. The first aim of the study is to describe the change of the arch of the foot in the infant age. The second one is to describe some physiotherapeutic methods suitable for influencing of the quality of support in the infant age with using some case studies and reports. The theoretical part includes the anatomy of the foot and a short summary of developmental ontogenesis in the infant age. It also describes some congenital abnormalities and some therapeutic methods that could be used. In the practical part of this thesis, qualitative research was used, namely case studies in the form of case reports. Some children in the infant age were selected for this research. All those children were diagnosed with late psychomotor development and we expected, that their developement will have some impact on the quality of support. With all the infants included into the practical part of this thesis we saw the improvement of their psychomotor developement and also the improvement of the quality of support at the end of our study. Each of the children needed their own time to improve and to take the next step in their developement. Our therapeutic intervention really helped all the patients to improve.
Evaluation of the short-term effect of physiotherapeutic techniques on spasticity in patients with spinal cord injury
Špačková, Anežka ; Hlinková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Kříž, Jiří (referee)
The subject of this thesis is spasticity in individuals with spinal lesions. The aim is to evaluate and compare a short-term effect of selected physio-therapeutic methods on spasticity of lower limbs in spinal patients. Two methods of comparison were chosen - passive stretching and the Vojta's reflex therapy. The work consists of two parts. The theoretical part describes the problems of spinal lesions, central motoneuron syndrome and spasticity, including its pathophysiology and investigation and therapeutic approaches. The practical part contains an attempt to verify and subsequently compare the immediate antispastic effect of the chosen methods, which is an important prerequisite for the following active exercises as an inseparable part of a physiotherapeutic exercise unit. Clinical evaluation scales are used to evaluate spasticity, namely Modified Ashworth Scale (MAS) and Muscle Excitability Scale (MES). The results are then compared with other studies and literature. Keywords spinal lesions, quadriplegia, Modified Ashworth Scale, Muscle Excitability Scale, Vojta's method, stretching

The Gait Analysis of People with the Multiple Sclerosis
Havlištová, Michaela ; Ježková, Martina (advisor) ; Káfuňková, Petra (referee)
The Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is one of the most frequent reason of disability of people in productive age. Fatiglle and motor impairment affect the qllality of patients' life. This bachelor thesis focllses on the gait assessment of people aftlicted with the MS. It describes differences of gait of people aftlicted with the MS in compare to healthy people. The thesis shows clinical tests and relevant functional scales which can be lused for the gait assessment in any clinical practice. Instrumental methods of gait assessment are not discussed. There is one casllistry of people affected with the MS in practice pati ofthe thesis and inf1l1ence of the Vojta's therapy on these gait tests (TUG, T25FW, 1 OMWT, DGI and 6MWT).
