Application Improvements Using VBA In a Corporate Environment

The main goal of this work is to analyze and subsequently improve application software in the corporate environment according to employee requirements. To improve the application, the VBA programming language will be used, which allows you to program applications in the MS Excel environment. The company makes extensive use of this program in various departments. Due to different requirements, the work will deal with partial suggestions for improvement. The benefits of these improvements should be clearer and easier work for employees, which should lead to greater efficiency.

The bachelor thesis is focused on analysis of financial indicators of selected company using statistical methods. In particular, regression analyzes and time series. Additionally, an application that will facilitate financial analysis will be created using Visual Basic for Application (VBA) programming language. This comprehensive financial analysis will not only provide a detailed insight into the development of the company since its inception but will also reveal its strengths and weaknesses. Based on the results obtained, it will be possible to predict the financial position of the company over the next few years.

This bachelor´s thesis is about the development of a new software application which will be used to compare various indicators in the chosen company. The theoretical part consists of resources necessary for conducting the analytical part and the proposition. The economic situation of the company is documented in the analytical part. The practical part describes the design and the functionality of the application which was programmed in Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic for Applications. The main output is the evaluation of the current economic situation in this company, following the future trend, and recommendations for possible improvements.

This is followed by analysis of the current state, which assesses the current situation. The main part is devoted to the creation of a program to support technical analysis for the novice investor and the demonstration of its use in trading.

Bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of economic indicators using statistical methods. Result of financial analysis is set of values for each of the years, to which there are applied statistical methods. Financial analysis reveals weaknesses and strengths of the company, on the basis of which will be proposed solutions for improving problems and situation of the company. A part of this thesis is also simple Microsoft Excel application.
