Design of Cooling and ventilation system in family house
Bíza, Michal ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Pech, Ondřej (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the design of ventilation and cooling for the family house. The first part of the thesis deals with possibilities of ventilation and cooling, air ducts and their components and selected ventilation units. The next part deals with the analysis of air-conditioning routes, their dimensions and pressure losses. Then the heat gain is determined, and cooling is proposed. The last part deals with the comparison of financial costs for purchase of all components for ventilation and cooling, assembly, installation and operating costs. The enclosed drawings and item lists are at the end of the thesis.
Mountain hotel
Moučka, Miroslav ; Struhala, Karel (referee) ; Jelínek, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this master’s project is to develop project documentation of a new-built mountain hotel in Ostružná. This hotel is near the ski area Ramzová in Jeseníky. Foundation of my building is from ground reinforced concrete slab. My building is supported by clay block load-bearing walls and clay non-load bearing walls. Exterior building envelope is designed as an aluminum shingle ventilated facade. The slabs are from reinforced concrete. The roofs of this designed building are two, first is pitched roof with insulation over rafters and second is intensive green warm flat roof. This project contains HVAC concept, photovoltaic panel concept, heating concept in technical equipment of building part. The third part of my master’s project is energy assessment for the building.
Climbing Centre Vertikal in Brno
Maršálková, Martina ; Kolářová, Eva (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design a climbing hall with nearly zero energy consumption located on a small brownfield at Brno-Královo pole. The thesis has three parts: The first part presents architectural and structural designs at the level of concept documentation for building permit application. It is a four-storey building with a rectangular plan, flat green roof and a external wall made of stainless steel sandwich panels. The internal space is divided into a climbing area, technical facilities, changing rooms and wellness area. The structural system is a precast reinforced concrete frame with a roof structure made of BSH solid wall trusses. In the second part the design of the technical systems of the building is presented. Ventilation and cooling of the building is provided by three ventilation units. Heating is provided by floor heating and radiators. The heat is supplied from a local district heating grid via a heat exchanger. In the third part, CFD simulations were applied to design and assess natural and forced ventilation in terms of thermal comfort, air change effectiveness, and age of air. Within the ventilation analysis, it was demonstrated that mechanical ventilation brings significant advantages in terms of thermal comfort, air quality, and air change effectiveness compared to natural ventilation. The project documentation was prepared in AutoCad software. Simulation and analysis of natural and forced ventilation was performed in CFD software DesignBuilder.
Hotel
Simanov, Maksim ; Tomášová, Klára (referee) ; Jelínek, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this master´s thesis is to elaborate the project documentation of a new hotel for 34 people in Brno. It is a twostory building. The first floor of the building is divided into two functional parts. In one part there is a restaurant and in the other part a reception with a lounge. On the second floor there are hotel rooms. The loadbearing carcass is made of reinforced concrete. The walls are made of gas silicate blocks, the inner walls are made of plasterboard partitions. The roof is flat. There are recreational areas for uests and parking spaces. A technical scheme has been developed for the building, which includes heating, ventilation, cooling and energy production using solar panels. The subject of the thesis is the facility management of the hotel.
