Reactive powder composites and cement composites without macropores
Panenková, Monika ; Hela,, Vlastimil (referee) ; Hela, Rudolf (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design principles and manifacture of ultra performance concrete (UHPC), reactive powder composites (RPC) and other fine-grained materials, such as Macro defect free (MDF) or Densified systems with small particles (DSP). Theoretical part of this work is focused on the requirements of properties and composition UHPC and RPC and methodology of their design principles. Experimental part describes design principles RPC, manufacture of test specimens, testing of certain physical and mechanical properties, such as tensile strenght, bending strenght and compressive strenght and determination chemical character X-ray and thermal analysis.
The use of nanotechnology for ultra-high strength concretes
Šindelek, David ; Bodnárová, Lenka (referee) ; Hela, Rudolf (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the concept of use of nanotechnology for cement composites and UHPC. In the theoretical part of this diploma thesis there are theoretical principles described for successful design of high performance concrete and characteristics of main feedstock and its production. Furthermore, there is a focus on nanoparticles, especially the ones with carbon base in the form of carbon nanotubes CNT, in addition to that, graphenes GN that are new on the market, moreover, graphene oxide GO and its application in cement composites to mechanical characteristics and its durability. The first part of the practical part devotes in trying to find out an optimal parameter for ultrasonic mix with a suitable surface active substance of three graphenes. The other two parts of the practical part are about influence of graphenes on mechanical characteristics, cement paste microstructure, and application in the mix of concrete C 35/45 and UHPC
Current development of UHPC concrete and verification of selected properties
Panenková, Monika ; Sedlmajer, Martin (referee) ; Křížová, Klára (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with current developments and research in the field of ultra high performance concrete – UHPC. Theoretical part of this work is focused on the composition and properties of UHPC compared to normal strength concretes. It describes design principles, constructions in the world and also in the Czech Republic and other use of this material. Experimental part describes the design of UHPC, manufacture of test specimens and testing for certain physical and mechanical properties such as compressive strength, tensile strength, bending strength, water impermeability, frost resistance, resistance to chemical de-icing substances and abrasiveness of the material.
Properties, Testing and use of UHPC in Structures
Myšičková, Lucie ; Kocáb, Dalibor (referee) ; Cikrle, Petr (advisor)
Thesis describes properties and composition of UHPC compared to concretes of normal and high strength. It gives examples of already completed structures made of UHPC. The experimental part describes the optimization of concrete mix and production of specimens. In the end results of testing the properties of the developed mix from tests of dynamic and static modulus of elasticity, compressive strength and tensile strength by bending are described.
