Municipal house in Suchonice
Přidal, Petr ; Sukop, Lukáš (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
The task of the Master's thesis was the development of a design of a terraced near-zero energy civil amenities building for the building permit. The building is located on a gap site on a brownfield site in Suchonice. The building has two interconnected parts. The first part has two stories and a pitched roof. It includes club rooms, two separate apartments, a pub, and utility rooms. The second part has a single story with extensive green flat roof. It includes a hall for cultural events and technical spaces (WC, utility room, HVAC). The first part of the thesis includes architectural and structural designs of the building. The entire building is based on concrete strip foundations. The load-bearing walls and non-load-bearing walls are designed from ceramic blocks. The floor structures are designed from prefabricated reinforced concrete panels. The second part addresses the design of selected building services. The building is ventilated by an HVAC system with heat recovery. Space heating is provided by air-water heat pumps in split configuration (indoor and outdoor unit). Photovoltaic panels and solar thermal collectors are designed on the roof of the building. In the project is the design of artificial lighting. Rainwater will be stored in accumulation tanks and used for flushing toilets. Domestic wastewater is treated using a root wastewater treatment plant, on the property a constructed wetland. The final section focuses on the design of a treatment wetland. This study introduces basic information and types of wastewater treatment using wetlands. The concept includes the design of a treatment wetland, along with necessary calculations. The outcome is the selection of the most suitable treatment wetland for a specific facility and the design of this constructed wetland.
The Design of Extensive Wastewater Treatment Plant for the Municipality up to 500 PE
Brychtová, Veronika ; Sládek, Roman (referee) ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (advisor)
The subject of this master thesis is a 300 EP wastewater treatment wetland proposal in Uhřice village. Wetland was designated as the most reasonable available technology for Uhřice village - the selection of a water treating process was preceded by an assessment of the investment plan, achievable results, and service requirement. The introduction part is focused on the area of interests, its basic information and describes the individual object proposal. Object proposal consists of input parametres for dimensioning individual objects and detailed calculations. Part of the thesis includes drawing documentary of individual objects and the complete wastewater treatment wetland as a complex area. The design of the solution is based on the knowledge gained during the bachelor thesis, on research and operational objects that are already designed and on which the Institute of Landscape Water Management in cooperation with the spin-off BUT, Conwe s.r.o. This master thesis will be used as a background for the individual stages of project management in the Uhřice village.
Constructed Treatment Wetland for Neratov Village
Kanta, Martin ; Pumprlová Němcová, Miroslava (referee) ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (advisor)
The municipality of Neratov is currently dealing with wastewater management, which includes the design of a new sewerage network and wastewater treatment plant. A pressure sewerage network and a wastewater treatment plant are currently being designed in the village, the design of which is the theme of the bachelor's thesis. With the latest development of the situation, the municipality is considering a reserve for a larger number of connected inhabitants as a way forward, so the whole work is designed from today's perspective as a partially oversized WWTP building. The introductory part of the bachelor thesis deals with the description of possible pollutants flowing into the treatment plant and their limits for discharge, the possibility of transporting wastewater to the treatment plant, types of mechanical-biological treatment plants and especially natural treatment plants, where the objects of pre-treatment, main stages of treatment. The second part deals with a specific design of the technological arrangement of a natural wastewater treatment plant. The practical part includes a description of the area of interest, the character of the village Neratov, the design of individual stages of treatment with a detailed description of the facilities at the treatment plant. The documentation also includes sample drawings, floor plans and sections. The proposed solution requires a minimum of electricity for its operation, it is a compact solution installed above the level of the existing terrain. The design also includes its own sludge management, ensuring the minimum possible operating costs.
The Issue of Vertical Filters with Vegetation for Municipalities up to 500 PE
Brychtová, Veronika ; Přecechtěl, Karel (referee) ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (advisor)
Thesis consist of two parts theoretic one focus on wastewater, wastewater treatment and practical part which focus on the most appropriate option how to treat wastewater in Pyšel village. In this location was in the past purchased a study of variant solutions. From the economical/investment/the most appropriate point of view was chosen vertical wetland. Nowadays vertical wetlands are very suitable for small municipalities under 500 equivalent inhabitants because of the low demand for electricity and the presence of operators is not necessary. This technology became unpopular in Czech Republic after few incorrectly designed vertical wetlands. These problems cause insufficient cleaning ability especially about ammonia, phosphorus or other mostly oxygen parameters. Flawless design and optimized service of vertical wetland can achieve better results than biologically – mechanical waste water treatment plant. Design for Pyšel village is based on research processed by Institute of landscape water management (Kotěnice and Dražovice). Part of the design are also sludge fields, which were build for minimalized financial expenses for Pyšel village inhabitants.
