Selected issues in hydrology and hydrogeology of the Trebon Basin

In the last few decades, the average temperatures in the Czech Republic have been increasing, which has led to increase in evapotranspiration. Previous studies have shown that increases in evapotranspiration during the summer months can lead to significant reductions in flows and even to drying up of small watercourses. Additionally, snow cover has also been on the decline in recent years, resulting in no flow enhancement in spring months and therefore lower soil moisture problems ensue. Due to the possible decrease in precipitation and/or increase in evapotranspiration, there is also the risk of less groundwater recharge in the future. The aim of my thesis is to verify the correlation between several selected parameters in the Trebon Basin, namely the relationship between evapotranspiration, precipitation and baseflow and groundwater levels in boreholes. A sub-objective is to verify the long- term evolution of these parameters in the Trebon Basin. Vyhodnocení veřejného zájmu na lesích a návrh komunikační strategie s veřejností na příkladu modelového území Třeboňské pánve

The diploma thesis deals with and evaluates the public interest in the forests, the work was elaborated in the territory of the Třeboň Basin, as a model example, the Forest Administration Třeboň, where the Třeboňsko Protected Landscape Area is also located. The aim of the thesis was to propose procedures for communication strategy in the field of public relations. The diploma thesis is divided into two basic parts. The theoretical part focuses on the issues of communication strategy, definition and characterization of studied territory and analysis of public interest from a theoretical point of view, especially from the point of view of legislation. The practical part is focused on the research itself, which took place in the summer of 2017. The data of the Agency for Nature and Landscape Protection of the Czech Republic for the years 2015 and 2016 are used to evaluate the quantitative indicators of forest attendance. In the course of the diploma thesis a questionnaire was created, which was placed 3046 forest visitors. The survey results are presented in the diploma thesis. The survey shows that the public perceives, among other things, insufficient information about foresters' activities. In the framework of the work activities are proposed which should be part of the communication strategy in forestry. The communication strategy should be a comprehensive work of many forestry institutions.

Preferences for educational trails in Třeboň region

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to work out the optimization project proposal of the interpretive trails in the selected area of the Třeboň basin. The result of the optimization is creation of new product in the area of interest. The aim of the project is to contribute to the revival of some places in the nature trail through the innovative product.

Some peculiarities of the mesoclimate of Borkovická blata

This work is focused on the area of Borkovická blata and the assessment of its mesoclimate. This work describes the conditions of the formation of the peatbog, some climatic terms, and the area of Borkovická blata. The impact of mesoclimate of the area was assessed. Climatologic data from Borkovice station were taken and interpreted. These data were used to explain how mesoclimate influenced the formation of this unique peatbog locality.

Educational routes in tourism of Třeboň region

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to classify present state of educational routes in the chosen area of Třeboň region. The thesis evaluates significant characteristics of educational routes in the monitored area to clear up their differences. The thesis also assesses structure of visotors of educational routes and their relation to them. Further the thesis is devoted to the differences of visitor´s attitudes to attributes of educational routes based on the results of the questionnaires. The project is about identifying possibilities of optimalization of the educational routes in the area of interest.
