System for temperature monitoring in server rooms Papež, Milan ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor) The aim of this thesis is the design and implementation of a system for temperature monitoring in a server room that is able to send e-mail when exceeding the set temperature value. For this purpose was used PIC18F97J60 microcontroller that includes an Ethernet controller peripheral. Sending e-mail is realized via SMTP protocol, which is included in the TCP/IP stack provided by the manufacturer of the microcontroller. For temperature measurement is used DS18B20 temperature sensors that communicate via the 1-Wire interface. Device also allows the remote conguration.
