Stress, strength and strain analysis of the crane truss construction.
Nedělka, Pavel ; Borák, Libor (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with stress, strength and strain analysis of the plane crane truss construction. The aim of this work is the calculation of forces for the simple frame with the help of joint equilibrium equations. These forces will be modified by further construction treatment. This treatment turns the simply frame into the hyperstatic system. The obtained values data are the input data for the design of geometry of particular bars. The unknown dimensions will be determined by two strenght limit states. These limits are: limit state of elasticity and limit state of stability. Then we will make the strain analysis. It will determine the displacement in the action of the force, the effect of actual clearance as well as the brace failury effect to the construction safety. Further will be determined the influence of the weight of the construction to the strenght.
Design of a two-phase separator
Brančan, Peter ; Pernica, Marek (referee) ; Létal, Tomáš (advisor)
Design of a two-phase separator according to the model assignment for separation of natural gas and crude oil. Material selection and checkup for functionality on this process equipment. Emphasis is on selection of dimensions according to mathematical model of mixture sepation. Design is also considering safety of the vessel. Dimensions of separator are optimalized to the lowest possible price of a vessel, while maintaining functionality and required safety of a pressure vessel. Separator is designed according to the standart ČSN EN 13445. Iteretion programs in computational software MATLAB were created to make calculations easier. Programs were created for calculations of separator’s dimensions, nozzles and their reinforcing pads, checking calculations of the vessel and its nozzles and calculations of flanges.
Jib crane for handling metal plates
Dobšíček, Tomáš ; Prachař, Vlastimil (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the construction design of revolving column crane which is used for manipulation with metal plates for metal shears and bending bench. The aim is to set main proportions and basic parameters for the designed steel construction via design calculation. Then the thesis deals with checking of strength analysis done by programme I-DEAS NX 11. Suggestion of disposal placement of the crane, choice of hoist, travelling system, auxiliary device and drawing documentation are also parts of the design.
Strain, stress and strength analysis of the frame construction.
Hrubý, Jaroslav ; Vlk, Miloš (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
This work deals with the stress and strain calculation as well as with the safety evaluation at the plane (2-D) frame loaded by the individual force F. The aim of this work is not acquiring the use of cutting-edge computer programs to determine the stress and deformation, but to learn how to use practically the basic calculation methods being taught at the subject Strength of materials to get practical experience with the application of these calculation methods.
